Every time I see dear reader Jose's avatar I want a double ice cream cone.  Maybe one day next week I'll have two poached eggs on an English muffin (total calories 300) and use the rest of my calories up on a two-scoop ice cream cone from Baskin-Robbins or Ben and Jerry's.

It's been a very long time since I've had a real dessert - since Skip's cheese cake, I think.

Find a good gelato place.  -Actually the one in Los Feliz is pretty good.  -Less fat, and less calories, more flavor.

Well, I guess I'll refrain from posting my pic with the banana split.  ;)

I'm getting kind of hungry for a snack.  I'd say I could eat two to three hundred calories more and be fine.  We shall see.

DR TCB - I wish that your eye gets better, too!  Does looking at the computer screen bother it?

Actually, everything but a darkened room bothers it, which is why I am behind on reading posts.

I wish I felt like really doing this school.   It isn't really what I thought it would be. Tonight they said it wasn't the content that mattered it was learning to be comfortable speaking in the courtroom.  I'm very comfortable in the courtroom. I want to know what to say.

Tonight we described blocks. It was an interesting exercise, but...   I'm exhausted.

I'm afraid the past few months is catching up with me.  I'd really just like to go to bed and sleep in tomorrow.

Even a man who is pure at heart
And says his prayers at night
May become a wolf
When the wolfbane blooms
And the Autumn moon is bright

Or use your sense of touch.  Handy excuse for "accidentally" groping people.

Tomorrow is my niece's 3rd birthday party.

I decided to make a recipe i've been dying to try (she even helped me since she likes baking).

When i got home tonight i cut it up and tried a piece. It is so good!

It's for Starbuck's Cranberry Bliss bars:

The funniest thing is that my niece loves playing with my nail polishes. She's been begging my sister for months to let her polish her nails.

Well my sister told her she could polish them for her birthday.

Tonight was the night we did it. And there were a bunch of people over at my sister's and i hear my niece tell someone, "yeah pedicures are when you put nail polish on your toes".  So cute!

There's a chronologic problem here, DR Matt H: the play was written by Schnitzler in 1897 and the playwright died in 1931, so Sir Laurence must have had a problem with the son about the translation. I can't imagine the son could stop a public domain play from being newly translated?

This is all explained in the bonus features. The only place where the play was in the public domain was in the US. In all places in Europe except France at the time - 1964 -, the playwright's estate held the copyright and had to give permission which was always denied.

I spent most of the evening with GREY'S ANATOMY. My goodness, Shonda Rhimes had a lot of messes to get out of as Season 4 began. It took over half the season to clear things up from the tangled, irritating plots she and the writers had devised.

The hospital cases have always been interesting, riveting in many cases. It's just the interpersonal relationships between the doctors that got so garbled.

Some good guest star turns. Loved Seth Green's exploding neck and Gale Harold's  swastika on his stomach surgery.

I've watched 7 of the 17 episodes thus far. There were also two audio commentaries I listened to. Neither was very interesting, and the one with the actress playing Rose was really poor. Almost no talking.

I did watch tonight's PSYCH. Good show with Shawn cuter than ever. Dule Hill had about the least to do that he's ever had.

Gary Cole and Alan Ruck were good guest stars.
