BK, it appears that your Doug Brodax did relocate to Ohio. He was a panelist, listed as Doug Brodax - Literary Agent, at the Midwest Film Makers thingy in Ohio a few years back.

He makes his home in Beachwood, Ohio now.

Any way to get an Ohio number on him?  And I'll bet that was him in NoHo in 2003.  Good job - now go get that number!

This morning I went for a walk, and this is what I saw:

And here I am, going through Fat-Man Pass. I am pleased to report that I did not get stuck.

My favorite flop musical is probably OVER HERE! though it did at least have a season's run. Lots of shows I loved lost money like SHE LOVES ME and FOLLIES, but those aren't the kinds of flops we're talking about, are they?

I can't think of a quick flop that I actually saw.

I watched last night';s THE SHIELD. Excellent, as always, and new complications gearing up now for the show's final run of episodes. I am really going to miss this show.

Then, I started on WILL & GRACE. I got 9 episodes watched. I should be able to get at least that many done tonight as well. The season opener had some laughs, and a couple of others were fun (the Christmas episode with Will's gay nephew is delightful, and Grace and Leo hooking up on a plane while Will flirts with two gay flight attendants who he finds out are a couple had some laughs).

But I'm livid that Lionsgate used the 1.33:1 standard version of the show when W&G's final season was filmed in HD and those 1.78:1 HD masters were available to make the show look wider and much sharper than these nonanamorphic 4:3 episodes.

BTW, they used the East Coast version of the first live episode. (Thanks to DR George who sent me the West Coast version and now I know which is which).

I did scan through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Luke was there momentarily but not really much a part of the action. Nothing in the previews for tomorrow.

That's what I said; he's playing the lead in THE COMEDY OF ERRORS in Ashland.

;D I took the photo off the Oregon Shakespeare site.

Good Evening!

What another gorgeous early Fall day it was/is here in NYC!  After I was done with my auditions today, I ended up walking down Eighth Avenue through Chelsea to the West Village, and then across to 6th Avenue to catch the train back uptown.

So has anyone seen the Obama ad where he says McCain is out of touch in part because he doesn't use the computer.  Turns out McCain can't use a keyboard much because of the injuries he sustained while being tortured.  Sounds like McCain isn't the one who isn't up on things. What a stupid error.

During my train ride back uptown, there were a couple of people discussing the current situation with Lehman Brothers and AIG.  One of the men happens to work in the building across the street from Lehman Brothers main building here in NYC.  He owns a deli on the ground floor of that building.  He said he's already looking into closing up his store since "half of my breakfast of breakfast business, and almost all of my lunch business is that building across the street.  If they close, I close."  :-\

Ouch, that one must have been embarrassing.

I hadn't seen the ad.  I looked at factcheck.org for more info & found a small statement:

"He can type. But using a keyboard for long periods is uncomfortable for him. He says he's been an "illiterate" on a computer. But he says now he's learning to use the Internet."
