Well, you've read the notes, the notes had both a belly and a button, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently in search of their collective belly buttons.

It should have been omphaloskepsis - in which, it seems, you have been engaging.

In Bahrain it's no longer OK to transport sheep in car trunks

However, wives number three and above may be so transported.

I came home after rehearsal last night and a Kritzerland CD was in my mailbox!  I'll listen to it at work tomorrow.

But now, I'm going to bed.

Friday morning greetings!  I'm here early to say HI and will be E & T all day, because I'm helping with a grantseeking seminar off-site.  Pray that the internet connection they've promised allows me to project the websites that form the basis of my part of the presentation!

Thank you to DRs Tomovoz and TCB for the birthday wishes sent to DH Richard last night.

DR TCB - I'm sorry about your travails with your friend.  Hope he realizes he needs caring people like you and becomes a more cheerful patient.

TOD:

DVD:

The PBS production of Stud Turkel's Working, originally broadcast in 1982, with music and performances by a whole slew of people.  Good grief, that's from before der B and I got together!  No wonder he doesn't remember watching it with me!

The Sarah Jane Adventures: The Complete First Season - and if I can be as good looking as Elisabeth Sladen is as sixty... ooops, I'm not even there yet, and I'm nowhere near!

Further TOD:

Book:

I've finished the memoir part of Judith Jones' The Tenth Muse, and am now running through her recipe appendix.  As with most memoirs, she runs low on focus towards the end, but it's still a good read, much more about the people she's worked with than about herself.  An accomplished woman, who made other people's work shine.

And der B has a number of DVDs coming in soon...

For me, he's ordered a bunch of Doctor Who titles, both current and classic.

For himself, he's ordered Quo Vadis and The Boys in the Band.  I can't help imagining the famous BitB kick-line, re-costumed QV-style.   ;D

ME ME MEdia Check:

iPod:  Tracy Chapman, OUR BRIGHT FUTURE -- there's a terrific cabaret "I'm Still Here" style song on this one, "I Did It All"--I'm not sure if this is an old song or not.

Tivo:  NANA & POT O'GOLD, both fresh off of TCM this morning.

CD:  I shall hopefully receive Bernard Herrmann's A CHRISTMAS CAROL this morning here at the office

DVD:  Nada--I actually did not purchase anything new this week.
