Jose's mom looks wonderful, too. I can see where Jose gets his photogenicness (photogenicity?).

Aw, thanks, DR Jeanne.

Well, cabin door has been closed, so I guess I'll shut off this here iPhone.

I guess you don't know about the "Airplane Mode" on the iPhone.  ;)

On my last flight we were told to turn them OFF that airplane mode wasn't allowed either. hmmm

Oh, yeah, technically, you're supposed to turn them during take-off and landing, but, otherwise, once electronic devices are "cleared", then "Airplane Mode" should be allowed (on an iPhone, at least).

*Although, I do remember sitting next to a pilot once who had claimed a "jump seat".  He did not turn off his Blackberry - I could still tell that the screen was "lit"/on as he held it screen-down in his lap.  ??? :-\

DR elmore - If you have a hand-cart, couldn't you just head out and drop off those three cartons at a FedEx "desk"?

DR elmore (part deux) - With your new Mac, will this be your first time dealing with Mac OS X Leopard?  If so, I highly recommend the online and embedded tutorials.  There are some tweaks and features from the previous version that aren't exactly easy to "find" right off the bat.

I am having one of those all-too-rare "happy" days when the weight of the world is on everyone ELSE's shoulders.

I've got Sondheim tunes racing through my head...everything seems bright and magical.

It must be close to HOLIDAY VACATION TIME!

One low note....I have one (count it, 1) radio station programmed on my car radio (!!!????!!!).  It is generally just perfect for me, but this year this station started playing ONLY Christmas songs one week before Thanksgiving and has not relented.

Driving in this morning, I had to endure Andy Williams' "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" with what I think of as a full Radio-City-Music-Hall production number (!) and it was closely followed by a "soulful" rendition of "The Little Drummer Boy."

I am in never in the mood to hear anyone "pah rum-pum-pum-pumming".

Tonight, I program some more stations.

Hmm...

Crime, ‘Cupid’ on ABC’s Midseason Schedule

It's the "Cupid" news - and star - that piqued my interest.

Hmmmmmmmmm I remember Piven as Cupid......interesting.  Of course, VALENTINE seems to have disappeared as was discussed here a couple of weeks ago....and I just started watching it.

Amazon.com has the Broadway to Hollywood Classic Musicals set on sale for $28.49....it includes two disc sets of BANDWAGON and EASTER PARADE, and also BRIGADOON, FINIAN'S RAINBOW, and BELLS ARE RINGING.

I think I may have to have this.

Yes, DR DRUXY, I couldn't pass it up for the price....I had wanted FINIAN'S RAINBOW, but the coast of it alone at various sites was half the cost of the set.....so I bought it!

I have this set, too.  I think--but I'm not sure--that BELLS ARE RINGING was available only in this set for a short time.

One would hope so. Although, Bobby Cannavale always seems to keep his shirt on lately, doesn't he?
