Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Roads icy here.....most events canceled this evening according to the TV crawls.  First event-canceling weather of the season in my area.

One thing about Facebook that I am just not understanding...people send me gift boxes, flowers, Christmas Trees, etc, and I click on all the required clicks to access said "present" but all I ever get are ads. Why is it that I never see the darn item! Nor is it shown on my profile.

Evidently I even have ornaments on my tree now, but I wouldn't know since I can't find the darn thing.

DR FJL

put [    then IMG    then ]     then [/  IMG]      leaving out the spaces

find your photo, right click and click copy image location then paste between the IMGs

I just ignore all of those things, I could find them on OLD facebook, but not on the new....so there you are.  Mostly it's a gimmick to get all of your information anyway.

If you click on the tiny photo after it's posted (unless the original photo size is very small), then it should enlarge...and that's not a euphemism. ;)

Many years ago, I read somewhere that there was some pianist, a woman I think, who had a piano with an all black-key keyboard made, because it showed off her fingers as she played.

That little tidbit has always stuck with me, but I've never been able to verify it being true.  I just did a google search with no luck.

Has anybody here ever heard of that?

A NEW PRIME TIME MUSICAL?

Quote
NEW YORK — The Fox network is  making a musical comedy, a somewhat unusual project for prime-time  television.

Fox said Tuesday it had ordered 13 episodes of "Glee," a scripted series about a high school teacher trying to transform a glee club into a national power. The characters include a diva-in-training, a nerdy soprano and a quarterback who tries to stay cool while singing. At least three musical numbers  will be performed in each show.
The good news is that it is the Fox Network, and not the Fox NEWS Network, that is going to produce this show.

The mere thought of Bill O'Reilly singing... *shudder*

Is anybody here on Twitter?

My publisher suggested that I should get on it, but I'm really not sure what it's all about.

Just people throwing out their random thoughts.

Victor Borge used to do the routine about the invention of the piano.  It was originally just one giant key, apparently.  And very monotonous to listen to, until someone one day invented the "cracks."   :)

George, if I emailed you the photos

Better DR George than DR dB, who will store them and then save them up for blackmail purposes.   ;)

George - Hmmm, they look oversized in the sent email.  Do i need to send them one at a time?

There's no reason you can't save them, George.  :)

You can see my arms and dark blue shirt in one of them if you look closely.

Or even if you don't look closely.
