I'm not sure I know what mistakes you are referring to and would love to hear more about itOne small example is when the author talks about the Titanic shooting off red emergency rockets. The rockets were white. Now, that may seem like a pretty unimportant fact, except that a good portion of the testimony at both the American and British Inquiry into the sinking revolved around whether or not the white rockets fired by the Titanic, were the same white rockets seen by the ship, SS Californian on the night of April 14 - 15. And, if so, did the SS Californian ignore an obvious distress call from another ship that night that was only a few miles away. So, the color of the rockets in Titanic lore is a big deal, and not an unimportant fact.

I'm listening to Mr Michael Ball's "Back to Bacharach" CD. He uses the same effective (to me) gimmick of choosing songs usually associated with female singers.Wasn't there a Bacharach tribute concert somewhere recently?
