DR FJL thanks for the reviews for PAL JOEY....interesting reading.

I am hoping that the mercury level on Broadway stays low for the holidays.

I hope TCB doesn't mind, but I posted his wickedly wicked Jeremy Piven thermometer joke on All That Chat.

I'm going to take care of a few little computer issues and then head back downstairs for more viewing.

I presume that if I go and change my billing to free AOL, I won't have any problems like what BK is experiencing? I hope.

I better do some researching to see.

Why in heaven's name are you still paying for AOL?  You have wasted good money you could be throwing away on Bollywood DVDs!

Folks must be cheapening up in these economic times - the Postman seemed startled when I handed him his Christmas Gift Card.

Well, AOL stores it on-line for me.

Well today was a good day  I woke feeling strong and rested.  Ate breakfast, despite the fact that I no longer have any working tastebuds, drove tot eh DR and had my radiation treatement and went to work.

I had a scheduled DR appointment at 3 for a rash that has been growing over my chemo port so I left teh office at 2.  Two of my co worlkers were gracious enough to go out and clear the ice and snow from my car for me.

TOD:

"Pleasantville" in the DVD player with "Shirley Valentine" waiting.

CD's:  Christmas Compilations and the OBC's of "Tenderloin" and "Over Here"

It's a lovely day here but has been very hectic; I'm considering having myself sealed in some catacombs with a Cask of Amonitillado.

DR MBarnum - Since you store your mail online, you could also just use AOL.com for your e-mail needs.

Well, AOL stores it on-line for me.

AOL is now totally an internet-based service.  The AOL program simply aids in logging you into their site, their servers which is where your mail is sent, received and stored.  You are accessing the same servers whether you log in via AOL (the program) or via AOL.com.  -The interfaces are just different.

You will NOT lose any ONLINE-stored mail by switching to using AOL.com to access your mail.   In fact, if you go to AOL.com, click on the Mail icon, log in, you should see a folder for "Saved Mail" in the left hand column once your "mailbox" comes up.

*And, remember, glitches do happen, so it's always best to archive any important emails on/to your hard drive.  I've heard horror stories of people losing their online content due to some cyber-accident and/or an accidental clicking of the wrong button on their mailbox's page.
