Haven't cut carbs that I know of - especially as I had a bacon cheeseburger and cole slaw yesterday.

- along with about 15 other people who were standing around me on the sidewalk.

And what were you doing to attract such a crowd?

The jacuzzi was helpful, and I've showered.  The cut on my chin isn't really visible anymore but there is a rather unseemly red bruise there, and a smaller on the other side of the chin.  Another inch up and I would have split my lip and maybe lost some teeth.

No, I haven't been sitting here like so much fish all afternoon.  Richard and I decided to go out to do some errands and I didn't log off.  Then, when we got back, my computer was ver-r-ry slow and I got so tired of watching the spinning beachball that I just turned it off and back on again.  Wonder if it's time for a new computer?

Shortly I shall be on my way to the editing room, then to an early supper, although I have not been told the address of the restaurant, even though I called the people I'm supposedly supping with two hours ago - I also mentioned that I'd had a scary morning, but that hasn't resulted in a call back, hence I may just forego the early supper because that sort of thing doesn't please me at all.

BK - when my DH Richard got up fast in the middle of the night he passed out over the bathroom sink and cut his face on the faucets, came to, then passed out again in the doorway.  I called 9-1-1 and we spent the next 15 hours in the ER.  They diagnosed what DR (Nursie) Jane described, not serious, but scary!

Please take care!!!

Back from the veterinarian whose diagnosis is going to cost me a huge chunk of money.  :(

But what did he say about DD Bosco?

He has a tumor on his leg that needs to be removed. And evidently such things cost and arm and a leg (hopefully not Bosco's).

Oh, sweet Bosco.  HOPEFULLY IT WON'T COST HIM A LEG, AND VIBES IT IS BENIGN!!!

I'm hopping off-line now to do some writing, and then will be heading back down to complete the EL NORTE Blu-ray, and then find something else to watch. I never watch the New Year's Eve shows, so I'll find some movie to hunker down with.

Thank you DRs Cilla & Dakota.  Keith did a search because he knew there wasn’t anyone to tell us.  Our friend’s long time partner passed away last year.

If I'm up at midnight, which is highly unlikely, I shall go to the end of my driveway and hit pot and pan lids tgether and shout, "Happy New Year!"

Phoenix is the only place I've ever lived where people bang on pot and pan lids on New years.

Phoenix is the only place you've ever lived where it is warm enough at midnight to go outside and make merry.

DR Michael S. - your photos need to be "hosted" - for example, through PhotoBucket.

hate ask but what is Photobucket?

Photobucket.com is a free on-line photo storing website.  I created a HHW group so that we could post photos (mainly) when the HHW photo folder is full.  I'll PM the instructions. :)

Well, a bunch of them were already there.  Stuck to the sidewalk.

DR Michael S - Just make sure to upload them at "full size".  Otherwise, just attach them to your posts here - as I mentioned earlier.  When we click on the pics, they "expand".

Well, the painting is done.  It was a chore.  Small room with furniture piled in the middle (very Les Mis like) away from the walls made it hard to navigate.  I'm not a small person, so it was a bit challenging painting this damn room.  But, it's done, it's not perfect, but it's the first room I've ever painted -and it will be my home studio, which is kinda cool if it looks sort of organic.

bk, vibes and crotales on your "recovery" from your episode.  Hope the day gets better.

Congrats Matthew.  It can be a pain to paint, but I think you'll love having it done

I just spoke to Pat Harrington.

I can personally confirm that he IS alive and well.

Good news!:)

Just spoke to Roger Corman.

He's alive, too.

 ::)

LOL,  are you calling everyone you know to see if they are alive?

The thing I need to learn is to not jump out of bed like that - ever.  As I said, I've been pretty careful not to do it, but for whatever reason, this morning I wasn't careful.  And I knew it as I did it, I knew it in the bathroom (I should have put the toilet seat down and sat until it passed), and I knew it as I tried to hurry back to the bed.

If you feel it coming on again, perhaps you should just sit down wherever you are until the feeling passes.  Glad you're feeling OK now
