Indeed! I was expecting a pain in the rear getting a replacment for an opened disk.
Monday Evening (late) - logged on to Amazon.
Clicked on Return.Clicked on "Ordered by me"
List of most recent orders poperd up wiyj "Return An Item" buttons for each order.
Selected the order.
Selected the particular disc in the order.
Slected - defective disk
Filled-in brief comments block.
Selected exchange
Selected "give to mail man option"
Printed out customized mail label.
Amazon Message siad they'd be in touch.
Tues morning - Got Email saying they would replace the disc ASAP - asked me if that was OK. (Gave me 30 days to return the defective disk)
Wed morning - Got Email saying disk was shipped.
Saturday morning - disk arrived. (And works fine)
Hardest part was repackaging the old disk to return (I didn't have a one-disk box available, so I padded out a 2-disker.)
Can't can't much better than that!
