MR BK did you ever audition or get a call for a production of THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT?
Owl and the Pussycat - I didn't appreciate that movie when I was  a child, but loved it when I caught up with it years later.

The night Keith told me he loved me was the night we saw THE OWL & THE PUSSYCAT with Bill Bixby.  I wish I had the ticket stub for that night.  That was in April, 1966. :)

Who played "Doris"?

*DR Sandra - The next time you make scrambled eggs, and you find yourself out of milk, just do without it.  Cook the eggs low and slow, and gently fold the eggs over themselves in the pan as they cook.  Oh, and cook them in a good amount of melted butter... Then dot the almost cooked eggs with some cream cheese...  :)  -Otherwise, whipping cream in scrambled eggs.. YUM!  -But that may not be the best thing for your cholesterol test results.

"...may not be..."??     Why not just tie off her major arteries and call her time of death?

Use Egg Beaters.  If you want to use some milk, use fat-free or 1%.

I'm not sure.  I wish I could find information on the show.  All I remember is that the actress was the daughter of Nat King Cole.  I can't tell you which one.

The show was great!

BD is still a very small percentage of the DVD market.

At the moment. The driving force will be the major retailers: Best Buy, Wal-Mart, etc. WalMart is clearly moving toward BD based on shelf space, product placement, and pricing policy. The $10 BDs are getting prime shelf space while the $7.50 SDs are thrown in an aisle bin.

der Brucer

I've read a bit about the declining SD marketplace (to which I attribute too many reissues of the same titles...folks being frustrated about not getting the best possible quality the first time, etc.) as well as the sluggish acceptance rate of Blu-ray.

The BD format seems to be doing gangbusters in other countries, especially Australia where it seems to have outpaced SD discs in the past year.

The U.S. has GOT to make the shift to the new broadcasting format...and it needs to happen NOW, as scheduled.  I recently read, however, that Obama has lent his support to a movement that would -- AGAIN -- delay the start of the new standards.  I hope that doesn't happen because we'll never be readier than we are now.

Once folks find themselves between the rock and the hard place, they'll do what they need to do to get the proper converter signals into their sets.

Well, I must hop off-line now and do some writing. Then back to watch the 1935 version of MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION and whatever bonus features are on the second disc.

So far I have been managing three cans a day.  The doctor really wanted 4 but said he understands how difficult that is.  He was also pleased I hadn't lost any more weight so he said as long as I was doing at least 3 and didn't feel hungry not to force myself to consume the 4th can.

The Vixter's best friend managed to break her ankle slipping on the ice in her driveway.  Now she is trying to navigate the high school hallways on crutches.

I just removed my wedding rings...

I took mine off in 1983 when I was in a family way. I never could get them back on. My fingers never got small enough afterwards. (Nor did any other part of me, come to think of it.)

What is BD?

It's the abbreviation "the industry" or "the fans" have been using to shorten "Blu-ray disc"...ie., "BD".  For me, the logical abbreviation would be "BVD"....but whatcha gonna do!

I have never had a hidden room dream.

I've had "large living space" dreams...

I always awaken in the same small condo, though.
