Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Mahlerian, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're having a piece of MOOhler's.

Anthony will be leaving for a journey back to Wisconsin on about February 5th or 6th to do The Fantasticks at Fireside Dinner Theatre. He will be there until April 20th.

I will be heading out to Fort Atkinson, via Madison on March 27th to see said Anthony in said production. I will return to New York on March 31. I am officially booked with a very good ticket price and a nonstop flight. Let's hope the weather holds out until March 27.

Good morning, all! The things I miss when I sign off: I see that DR FJL is heading into a recording studio to skewer Mr Piven and DR cillaliz has joined the anti-Tina Fey groupies for her dead-center brilliant twist on a Baked Alaskan, now that the object of my scorn has denounced Ms Fey to the press for doing her job too well. The coven is in an uproar, I guess, and good for Ms Fey to fight back. What a busy night!

That sets me wondering: have any other nominees in the past pissed and moaned publicly about how comic impersonators have destroyed their bid for 30 minutes of fame?

I am up bright and early to head to Toyland; I forgot to check something in the Act One edits and I need to do it today before I get deeper into Act Two. After that, back to Frank Loesser.

And sadly another celebrity passing.

Edmund Purdom died Jan. 1 in Rome at age 84. Starred in The Egyptian, The Student Prince and The Prodigal.

TOD:

My favorite fries are the Curley Fries at Chik-Fil-A.

I also liked the Potato Skins served at one of my favorite local pubs, the Kyber Pass, but I don't think they have them anymore. It seems that Potato Skins had fallen off the menu just about everywhere when Atkin's was the rage--hopefully they will make a come back.

I very rarely eat french fries. But when I do, I eat the ones that come with my DH's hot dog at his favorite hot dog stand in Phoenix. I don't know if they are the best....sometimes I just can't fight the temptation any longer.
