I'm glad the pain meds are helping, Vixmom.  Don't let them wear off; it's harder to get the pain under control.

My my my, it is brisk out today! The snow lasted all of what? fifteen minutes, and it's quite cold. I've run all my errands, checked my edits and I am home! I hope i can stay in for the next two or three days, finish Act One Scene Two of the Happiest of Fellows and get on to Scene Three, tackle a few BIT Act Two edits and finish the work for Brent Barrett.

I've started the most wonderful autobiography: UP FRONT by Victor Spinetti, and I'm finding it hard to stop reading it.

For the nonce, I think I will make some tuna salad. Definitely with relish and onion, celery and chopped egg.

I'm sorry that I got pizza for lunch--two slices of Sicilian, one with sausage, which was only so-so.  A Chicken salad sandwich would have been more satisfying.

Now the other slice is sitting here on my desk like so much fish (except it's pizza.)

I am currently using the ones left over from my surgery. Vixdad persuaded me to use one last night and it really helped a lot so I took another one this morning. The only problem is they are HUGE pills so I have been cutting them into 4 pieces so I can get them down.

The good thing is that even though the dosage says 1 -2 pills every 4 -6 hours I fiound one pill lasted me all night, so hopefully the one I took this morning will last all day.

The RN at radiology said she would have the doctor prescribe a liquid painkiller that I could pick up tomorrow.

DerBrucer, have the birds returned to your feeders?

Yeah - they push their way through.

Still resident: Cardinals, Woodpeckers, Chickadees, Titmice, Nuthatches, Creepers, Doves, Sparrows - missing-in-action - the Blue Jays.

Did you check with a Dr. or your Pharmacy? Cutting some pills into parts is not a good idea - particularly if they are coated to control active ingredient release rate.

Jennifer,

re Chicken Salad -

If you don't want celery try some celery seed.

Olives (green black or both) add a nice touch.

If you want crunch, but not celery, use apple.

You don't have to answer this if you don't want to but if it's liquid would you put it in your tube instead of trying to swallow it?

But BK, I am surprised that you don't find more of the Bollywood leading ladies attractive....I mean take a look...

Wow--those women were getting bigger and bigger!  I was getting afraid to scroll down any further.

Well he did say they had a great future ahead of them.

Didn't they tell you?  They're having auditions for a Bollywood remake of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman...

Oh please, why tamper with imperfection?

possibly, it depends on how difficult it is to swallow, but that was the RN's thought about having a liquid prescribed instead of a pill

Oh, wait, it's Anthony with his new apparel for the frigid temperatures in Wisconsin (he also has some chemical warmers in case the hat, gloves, coat and boots are not enough).
