OHH!!!!
So....
Jell-O was usually the dessert of choice when my Mom would prepare our school lunches when my brothers and I were in elementary school. She would prepare individual cups for each of us, and she was always buying new Tupperware containers because my brothers and I had a tendency to lose them or accidentally throw them in the trash at school. -This was long before Jell-O started making their own individual, portable and disposable cups. So...
It was "Clean Up The Classroom Day" at Gales Ferry Elementary. My fourth grade teacher, Mr. Sharack, assigned groups of students a different area of the classroom to clean, and towards the end of the day, we all cleaned out the "cubby holes" and coat closet. There were cubby holes for each of us along the floor, and there were also some "overflow" cubby holes above the coat racks. Since Mr. Sharack was the tallest one in the classroom, he "volunteered" to clean out the the overflow spaces...
"What's in this paper bag?... Is this your plastic container?"
-Yes.
"And this one too?"
-Yes.
"Oh.. what is this back here?..."
-Oh, that must be mine too...
By the time he was done, I believe I had re-collected at least 15 containers. And not all of them had contained Jell-O. Some had contained peaches, canned figs, fruit cocktail... And there were some (metal) spoons too. Thankfully, I was just able to take all of them home, and not open them all of them there as part of our science class.
