I ordered the Spinetti bio, DR ELMORE.... But you know, and this is not on the book jacket as far as I know, I am getting a bit weary of people saying the were "the fifth Beatle"......
There were only four when they hit it big. Everyone else was a hanger-on. If anyone could have the title it would be Epstein....or out of the group Mr Murray the K.
Actually, when you read the bio, you'll be more sympathetic to the "fifth Beatle" comment. He and John Lennon in particular have a long working relationship through the National Theatre of Great Britain and he was requested to be in all their movies. It's a wonderful bio. I think you'll laugh your way through it, and some of it's quite moving.
