Of course, I forgot to mention the lovelier than lovely Leslie Parrish.

At long last page three - a good thing as I was about to castigate for still being on page two.

Well, we're going to Oxford earlier than planned, because we have no running water.  There are half a dozen city trucks up in the next block and our neighbor said they told him it might be 24 hours before we're back online.  We've made a reservation in the Hampton Inn and will go to Cincinnati for church from there tomorrow - an unplanned vacation!

Hey, at least you have someplace to go.  We usually stay home & suffer.  Have fun.

Well, our water's back on but we've decided to stay overnight in Oxford anyway.  We're not in such a hurry now, because we were able to take showers here at home.

Yeah, DR Jane, we'd probably have gone to my mom's if we hadn't already had tickets for the concert.  I'd be more likely to stay home without electricity, like we did in September, than without water.

I've just rearranged some of the furniture in my apartment and I like it very much. I'm off for my walk to the pharmacy on 68th Street..

TOD - Harve Presnell, who I saw on stage as Leadville Johnny Brown when I was 10 and as Billy Bigelow when I was about 14.

BTW, his Molly Brown was none other than BK's good friend Karen Morrow.

Looks like Skip's show HERRINGBONE has been announced for La Jolla Playhouse this summer, in August/September.

How wonderful!  Congratulations to Skip!

Good morning, all! I deliberately slept late and now I am awake. I've just finished my oatmeal - cinnamin, with pecans and dried cherries - and I'm ready for some coffee and my meds. I need to prepare this week's meds and call the pharmacy about the refills I need. Later today I'll walk down and pick them up.

Beyond that, I'm back to Frank Loesser's score, and I need to think about my upcoming tax meeting. That's my day.  I still have several Christmas gifts left to hand out and I'm a bit embarassed by how far past Jan 6 I am for doing so.

Tomorrow's my next Finale lesson, so I needto play at the computer with that today as well and I need to think about getting a small keyboard for inputting notes. Oy! I could use some sell-that-damned-property-ASAP-vibes!

SELL THAT DAMNED PROPERTY!

Maybe my railing at the weather has worked - I see patches of blue sky all of a sudden.  Maybe I'll just put on the jogging outfit and DO it.

Is there no nearby creek in which to bathe? What did pioneer women do?

Off soon to see the broadcast of Orfeo from the Metropolitan Opera.

How did they ever manage to make OREO into an opera?

I found derBrucer's link to the Fox News story about the Titanic to be interesting.  The story quotes an American researcher as saying, "The first class lifeboats were gone by the time the third class was even told [that the ship was going down]."

There was no firstclass lifeboats or thirdclass lifeboats.  There was just lifeboats.  16 of them, plus four collapsables.

It's not about the Oreo, DR TCB--it's about that woman who co-starred in LEGALLY BLONDE on Broadway.

Well, there is the Great Miami River, but I'd have to chop the ice before bathing.  I prefer the Hampton Inn...

Will he bring paté as a peace offering for abandoning you; I'm sure Dylan and Toby would like to share.
