Good Morning! Good Afternoon!
I'm up, I'm up.. And I guess my tea should be ready. It's been steeping for almost an hour.
Don't steep in the subway, darling!
I did not end up "steeping" in the subway, but I did have to step very carefully during my trip downtown earlier tonight...
During the long stretch from 125th to 59th, I noticed one of the little boys sitting next to me suddenly bend over and started "coughing". Well... He was doing more than coughing, if you get my drift. He sat back up, his father looked down at the floor, saw the mess, asked his son if he was all right... And that's when the kid bent over over again, and... His father made sure to aim his son's head between his shoes... Well, the kid sat back up... And then proceeded to bend over again... People started giving the father spare napkins and Kleenex to wipe everything up... I finally spoke up...
"Don't make your son puke on the floor. Give him the McDonald's bag!"
Oh, yeah, that sounds like a good idea. The father then proceeded to take out the half-eaten cheeseburger from the bag and the Happy Meal toy... His sisters helped to clean up their brother's face with the napkins that had been offered to them, and then proceeded to throw them on the floor complete with the "No one saw that look". Then after his son "refused" to hold the bag, the father placed it on top of the mess on the floor of the train...
Thankfully, by that time, the train had pulled into the 59th Street Station, and I got off the train...
