I thought it was suppose to rain this afternoon but there is nothing but wispy clouds in the sky.

Jrand, our theatre group Actors Guild of Lexington, does have a haphazard website, usually out of date, and I've been on them to put a donation page up, but I still don't think they have one:

DR CP that's a nice website....and I read a story about MRS CP and THE FANTASTICKS.

I couldn't find a donation form or information.....although what's there is very informative.

Here is our website.  If you click on CONTACT US there is a link to a donation form that can be printed out and mailed.  It brings us in money all year round....and as the season progresses (our main Fund Raising Effort is in the fall) and people want to give money, we can direct them there.

Back from jury duty. I went through the whole choosing the jury process, but was not chosen to be one of the 12 angry men.

I was going to put my favs Richard Harris and Peter O'Toole, but I guess they don't count since they're Irish
(I've included some from Wales, so they may or may not count)
Anthony Hopkins, Gary Oldham, Richard Burton, and Michael Caine
Julie Christie, Emma Thompson, Vivien Leigh, Helen Bonham Carter, Helen Mirren and Catherine Zeta Jones

I counted the Irish and a Scotsman anyway.  They're all from the Isle of Angels...and BK probably won't have a "Who Are Your Favorite Scottish/Irish Actors" day.

Maybe bk ought to just go with a "Who Are Your Favorite Actors from Eastern Europe Day" to be inclusive ....

Scotland and Wales  count as  "British".

Der B I love your photos of the white throated sparrow, one of our favorite songbirds. We have one feisty mockingbird who chases all the other birds away from the food. I thought squirrels were bad, but at least they share!

The rainclouds are finally moving in, it looks like. It was very nice at lunch, and I didn't even need to wear a jacket. Much cooler now.

Very strange, DR Matt--the clouds ahve rolled into Philly during the past half hour as well.  I thought this storm was coming up from the south.  These are fast moving clouds!

Yep what a crazy night on tv tonight. Especially with all the NBC shows!

I am most excited about MEDIUM. Yeah! I really hope all those Super Bowl ads might help the ratings (that and being after a new HEROES).

Also CHUCK in 3d (and i found a pair of 3D glasses -yeah!).

I didn't even know about the 3-D glasses (and 3-D episode of CHUCk) until yesterday's commercial that I just happened to see. :-\ I don't know if I can even get some glasses.

I spent most of the afternoon watching PRETTY WOMAN on the upcoming Blu-ray disc. The film is a Cinderella story pure and simple, and as such, is WAY too long for the familiar story it's telling. Easy to see why Julia Roberts charmed the world in it, though.

Transfer is pretty solid with varying light levels bringing out more or less grain in the image. Very good color reproduction. And it has an uncompressed 5.1 audio mix (24-bit!), not that it was needed with such simple sound design.

I've written a little over four pages - and now I must be on my way to the work session, after which, I'll return briefly and then be on my way to my working dinner with David Wechter.
