We're forty minutes in, three major awards, and it is STILL a bore.

Has the viewer population died down considerably at this point?

The format was OK, but most of the screenplay "excerpts" were pretty inane.

How can I be so intensely bored after just 31 minutes.

Well, a friend of mine will be lifting up a famous singer later on in the ceremony.  The singer's name rhymes with "Ee-yon-say".  I wonder who that could be?  ::)

This jernt on Oscar night - the best.  And much more entertaining than the show.  But last year at this time there'd already been three commercial breaks to the one we've had so far.

They're stacking the commercials.  Can you say, "Set change"?
