HA!  A friend of mine just "tweeted" about Miley Cyrus' dress:

Mylie = barbiedoll stuck in a toilet roll with a dress layered over it...remember those?

This isn't striking me as bad as some of the ones in the past, but then I've ben sitting in a pitch black cold room for hours looking at archival baseball footage, so anything else would look good at this point.

They must have a LOT of tributes and numbers planned if they're giving out the major awards this fast.  I guess the idea is they "hook" the "audience" and then they stick around for the smaller awards.  But they're wrong.  Which is why amateurs should not be producing this show.

I only have one more review disc waiting to be done. A Criterion disc that doesn't come out until the 17th. I may take tomorrow off if nothing comes in the mail.

I think "Inside Daisy Clover" ought to take ALL THE REST of the Oscars.

I think it's the order in which a movie comes together...but then Best Supporting Actress makes no sense at the beginning

Nice that they had such an attractive set while they gave out the design awards.
