Worst Oscars ever.  That's all I have to say.

It doesn't come anywhere near being as bad as the Letterman-hosted Oscarcast, IMO.

Well, he would have thrown up had he seen the musical number.

I'll risk the wrath and say I don't think it was that bad.  It could have been much worse.

That was a nice speech by Ledger's family

I don't think it's the worst Oscar show, but it's right up there, for me.

This is the award we were one film away from being nominated for with THE INTERNATIONALE. Had we been nominated, I would have been there when Randy Newman finally won an Oscar.

But I'm not bitter...

But we say it every year - last year everyone said it was "okay" - but it was a ratings disappointment and it was a bore.  This show at least has some really bad moments worth talking about.

As for this year's Oscar ceremony being "young and hip", and wanting to draw in a larger audience, and a younger audience..

Then why did they keep the presenters and performers a secret before tonight?!?!?

I have seen excerpts of it in a few news stories. A rather remarkable feat
