Well, she didn't have her head buried anywhere else!
Well now, TCB, let us not assume. According to Phyllis, everything was just wonderful in that department for a time.

Things were so much more civilized back then. Everybody (except Phyllis, I guess) knew, but nobody wrote about it. Because it was NOBODY'S BUSINESS, but those involved. (Yes, I know people were paid off and there was a little blackmail here and there... but, hey, nobody's perfect.)

Phyllis Gates was the secretary for Rock Hudson's agent Henry Wilson, one of the most notorious homosexual agents in the business....
Wait a second!  Some of us have AGENTS?  You mean, I could have had someone else doing all my cruising for me, just for letting him have ten percent?  I could have saved myself all that trouble?

How Hollywood.   :P

Because I adore you all, I actually shipped out all the US orders just a few moments ago.  My back is now completely out of whack but the books are on their way.  The overseas orders are packaged and will go out first thing in the morning.
If Dan (the Man) can straighten out his underwear drawer, I'm sure he can straighten out your back.  A good solid scolding will usually do it, something along the lines of "straighten up or ship out."

Of course, you're trying to do both of those things at the same time.   :P  ???

::Hits Maya on the head with a pillow::

*Hits Jenny on the head with a teddy bear*

Heeey!  Maya spent the last two hours putting rollers in my hair, just to ruin it with Mr. Teddy!

This is so much fun! You would never know it, but Jenny looks adorable with curls...like a Jewish Shirley Temple!

And Maya looks fantastic with her new green nails! (Like Sally Bowles!)

*eats ice cream and kvetches about her waistline*

I can't find where Maya put the wine and the chick flicks...!

BUT...BUT...I WANTED TO WATCH HOPE FLOATS!!!!

Uhoh!  The timer just went off!  Time to go take the tinfoil out of Maya's newly orange hair!

*puts avocado face mask on Jenny*

We have to make ourselves beautiful!  The boys will start throwing rocks at the window any moment now!  BK, there's a sleeping bag on the floor waiting for you!

With Love and Pajamas,
~Jenny and Maya~

Maya and I just seriously jammed out to Debbie Shapiro Gravitte singing "Turkey Lurkey Time" (Courtesy of BK's wacky "Broadway Christmas" CD), complete with jumping up and down and super duper disco moves.  Sadly, we only have a disposable camera, so you kids will have to wait for pictures of our beautiful selves.

We had a lovely dinner at a local diner (ain't we classy?), where we had less than wonderful food but some scintillating conversation.  Somehow the discussion rolled around to none other than our own BK.  "I hope that there's a generation of young BK's out there.  I'd marry one," quoth Jenny.

 :-[ Geez, Maya!

BK, this CD is really '70s.  What's up with that?

We're listening to Jonathan Larson musicals.  How high school are we?  (Yeah, we gave up on the Broadway Christmas CD...wrong season and decade and all.)  Raul Esparza has really grown vocally since "tick, tick...BOOM!"  We just watched a coughbootlegcough of the KC "Sunday In The Park With George", and he's vocally so much mature in it.

I like my Raul raw.

JENNY!! STOP LOOKING AT NAKED RAUL PICS!

I meant vocally, stupid!

...We're going to stop now.

No THONG underwear, EVER.  Listen, I'D marry a young BK if there were any out there.

Don't stop.  We iz happenin'.  The Christmas Album is seventies?  Early seventies, I hope.  I'm watching Prisoner of Second Avenue.  This is Neil trying to open up a really good play and it doesn't need opening up and new scenes.

The book thing was amazing - they weren't supposed to be here until a week from next Tuesday, and even that was a week earlier than I'd expected.  They came through really well.  The shocking thing is, I've gotten several Kritzerland orders and I'm down to like one book, so I have to reorder a few of them for the upcoming signings.

Speaking of girls, where is Sandra tonight.  She should definitely be partaking of our slumber party.  She could wear her fencing jams and her Swedish Chef hat.

The Christmas Album is seventies?  Early seventies, I hope.

I'm sorry if we sounded negative.  We really enjoyed the Christmas Album!  The arrangments are really fun, and who knew that "Turkey Lurkey Time" was an awesome dance track?!  :)

Oops, sorry, BK, I'll get on it right away!  *twirls hair*  I can be really absent-minded sometimes.

That Guy Haines fellow is some singer!  ;)

(With a frown): Girls, behave yourselves!

We're good girls, we are!  (And we were kidding about the wine!  I'm underage, you know!)

And no, BK, Maya stinks and did not bring me a care package full of ... certain books.

WELL, if you MUST know, Jenny, I got your voice mail about bringing the books AFTER I had arrived in NYC.

Whoops.   :-[

And I think we should have a clothes call.  I'm wearing my mix and match PJs....grey floral pajama pants and a Fruit Loops t-shirt.

Oooh!  I'm wearing bright blue sweat pants, my City Opera "Sweeney" t-shirt ("Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pies: We'll serve anyone!" ... and hot pink too!), and my crazy 1950s nerd glasses.

I think your nerd glasses are HOT!

Why, thank you, dear!  Well, we're off to watch a coughbootlegcough of the "Follies" revival.  Love you all!
