Looks like that man may have ridden our light rail recently, much to Mae-Ling's dismay.

We used to do square dancing in gym class inthe elementary grades but it stopped by time I got to 6th grade or so.  I don't think the Vixter ever was instructed in square dancing at school.  But all her gym classes have always been co-ed.  When I had gym the classes stopped being co-ed at 5th grade.

I'll have to ask her about the square dancing

We had home ec and one quarter of shop, we did square dancing and disco dancing in PE

DR Sam, George is really good at making your photo avatar size. If you PM him, he will probably help. He's a nice guy.

Why, yes I am. ;)

I would be more than happy to help with your avatar, Sam.  Just e-mail the picture to me and I'll do what I can.

Well, I'm heading home now to watch last week's "Ugly Betty" before I watch tonight's episode.

Until later!

Rashad to Step Into Dysfunctional Family of August: Osage County

I'm wondering if this is part of Ms. Rashad's "unveiling" of her new Jenny Craig body? ;)

I've decided to stop paying the fees for Weight Watchers and start doing it on my own for awhile. I'm getting too busy to leave work early for the meeting I like to go to and it isn't like I don't know how to do it.  So, I'm prepaid until Mid April, then I'm going to be on my own.

For West Coast viewers of American Idol:

The show has an unannounced time over-run of 3-4 minutes - and you really, really, really want to see the last few minutes!

I'm sorry but I just have to say it.

Ewwww!

I loved her on The Cosby Show but everything I've seen her in on stage over the past few years has been affected and phony and dreadful. I cannot imagine her in that role.

I am glad to hear about Story of My Life!

Oh, Oh, Oh I think we're going to start getting Bravo on our cable.  It's on there tonight, but it says you need a subscription. It doesn't show up in the channel list online yet, so I'm going to hope it will be functioning in the next couple days. That would be fabu

Now, where the hell's the check Citibank was supposed to mail me on Monday? I guess tomorrow I need to kick ass at the bank.

Based on news reports, Citibank probably couldn't afford the postage stamp. Before you make a trip to kick ass, make sure they're still in business!

Quite a busy evening for me.

I began finishing the bonus features on the PINOCCHIO Blu-ray set. I enjoyed the "making of" documentary because there wasn't one on the last PINOCCHIO DVD release.

Next I watched LIFE ON MARS from last night. An enjoyable episode. Too bad he's going to try to fit in and enjoy his time in 1973 as best he can since the show will be ending at the end of the season. I'm going to miss it.

Next, I watched today's AS THE WORLD TURNS to see the anticlimactic climax of the mystery story the boys have been involved with.

Hopefully the next story arc they get involved with will spur better drama.

I also loved UGLY BETTY tonight.

Cheyenne Jackson in the flesh and little Justin doing "Money, Money" on the streets of NYC. It doesn't get much better than that.

I did not watch the IDOL wild card show. I figured I will find out the three winners tomorrow (or tonight if I want to go searching for it). Honestly, it's not that important to me. I have a feeling the eventual winner has already been voted on by the public.

My good friends Mustafa and Capt. Jason Faler were interviewed on NPR recently, telling of Jason and Mustafa's friendship and how his organization helped bring Mustafa and his family to the states.

Here is the link to the interview. I hope you will listen. It is fairly short.

Jason is one in a million for what he is doing to help the interpreters that helped he and his unit while in Iraq, and Mustafa is such a dear, dear person.

I don't know how that would be possible, since I spoke to the composer of the film last week and he told me that they were nowhere near completion.
