Maybe I will go try a little oatmeal now.  I like the instant with the fruit and cream - Like strawberries and cream, blueberries and cream etc and I do believe I have a box in my kitchen canbinet.

Good morning, all! Today is like yesterday: morning with BABES, afternoon with Loesser. I've been involved the last hour with the London Times obituary for John McGlinn; the mythology has begun and I think McGLinn would have been amused that some of his lies and sef-aggrandizing have now become fact in his legend. Some ass keeps going into the wikipedia page on him and adding incorrect info that I delete, but I fear I am becoming McGlinn Central

Good morning!

Another beautiful, warm, sunny March day here. Temps are going to be in the mid 70s and almost 80 tomorrow! What a change from this time last week!

I will be busy with more JAG episodes today. I'm sorry that Paramount didn't sent Season 7 several months ago when it was requested (December as I recall) as I missed the season where Harm and Mac break up with their respective fiances. Looks like they're going to spend much of this season flirting even more openly with each other.

And I'll likely watch last night's FLASHPOINT while I eat lunch today. I hope the series holds up to the fine episode that I enjoyed so much last week.

Here's a nice going away gift:

I just licensed  a minimum 3-performance run of TRACY, my 1-person play about Spencer Tracy.

It's going to be performed at the Athens Theatre in New Bern, NC, May 29-31.

Paul White, who really looks the part, will play the role, and if it does well he may "take it on the road".

The play was last performed during the 1980s in Los Angeles.

My wife and I have been invited to attend the opening, but since we may/may not be settled in our new Austin home by then, that decision is currently "on hold".

During TCM's Oscar month tribute, I happened on THE THREE FACES OF EVE one day, and I was reminded that I've had that DVD forever and never watched it. I wish I could find some time to watch that movie. I haven't seen the whole thing in decades, and when I saw it, it was pan and scanned for a TV broadcast.

I hope no one faints when I say this:

I have seen two Paul Newman movies: "The Sting" and "Butch Cassidy... Kid."

And we don't change our clocks in Arizona. We do not need extra daylight in the summertime.

I am indeed shocked- ;)

I would think you don't need daylight savings.  Besides you & Miss Karen who does not change their clocks tonight-Jennifer?

Good Morning. Last night Vixdad decided to buy chinese takeout for his and the Vixter's dinner.  He got me some wonton soup.  I had a little broth and about a third of a wonton.  I find I feel a little bit "sick"  when I eart.

I guess my body has to get used to the idea of eating again.

I expect this will be a slow process in the beginning.  Is there leftover broth to have today?  Maybe noodles are too heavy right now.

I have heard from DR Danise.  Thelma is nervous using Facebook or coming here will cause a virus & of course Danise is honoring her wishes.  Danise said to please tell everyone hi & to share her news.

"Just wanted to let you know that I went to every TV station in town.  One called me late in the day yesterday is very interested in my story. He said they will be in touch with me next week.

I just pray that they can help.

Please ask for those famous HHW vibes on my behalf.  A crossed finger and a prayer would be welcome as well."

The contractor did put in the kitchen cabinets & oven, he just did them wrong & she can't even reach the cabinets.  He also put in less than he took out.

DR JMK - that guy is emailing me, too, about the Kritzerland site.  I just sent him a screen cap of the site, with the albums showing, available to order.  Sheeesh.

He finally emailed me last night that he had figured it out.  Oy.

Today is the Pops concert.  It's a very small choir this session (only about half our usual size), and some of my best tenors and basses are not with us this time, so I would appreciate SATB vibes.  Especially the TB part, though that sounds a bit unseemly.  :)

Stop the presses!  Hold your breath and maybe your nose!  And save the date, April 4th, because...

Joan Rivers is coming to Rehoboth Beach!

First we let Joe Biden come for a visit, now look what's happening!  Sheesh!

TOD:

When the version of Our Town with Paul Newman playing the Stage Manager aired on PBS, I was impressed.  I know, there were wags at the time who said it was just a star turn on the boards, that Hollywood people should stay away from the theater, but I enjoyed what he did (and the rest of the company, as well).

And he didn't make the mistake of interpolating "Love and Marriage."  I can't think of a single film that was improved by Paul Newman's singing prowess.
