they may have to get the part from Japan. It will take about a month.

They're not increasing the likelihood of the church ever buying from them again, are they?    ::)

Oh, we've ruled that out pretty much already. I just want to get the machine all fixed before we cancel the service contract.

Good Afternoon!

Greetings from the drab and dreary Delta terminal at LGA...

The car service ride over was OK, but... He answered an incoming call on his cellphone without a hands-free device. -I immediately called him on it, "That's illegal! If you get pulled over..." Then he switched to speaker-phone. Then once we got to LGA he had to loop the airport since he could not read/follow the arrows to the D(elta) terminal. So... No Tip! -And I think that was the first time I did not tip a driver, however, I could tell he knew not to expect one.

...And my flight is delayed 25 minutes... and the next flight down to Charleston has already been cancelled. Apparently, there is some "weather" going on down there today. I noticed that there's currently a Flood Watch. Hmm...

It looks like the move to Austin is going to be postponed for a few days.

Although the loan for the sale of our Los Angeles house has been approved and "locked," the documents have not been signed yet, which means that escrow can't close before next week.  So, instead of starting our 5-day drive on Sunday (15), it probably won't begin until the latter part of the week.

 :(

There's always something, isn't there?

I am sorry to hear that.  Will this effect your ability to go see your play performed?

It has nothing to do with the play.

I'm not sure if I was going to take it in either way, because after the move I don't know if I want to travel for awhile.

No, the problem with the delay is that it might cause us to push the closing of the Austin house back.

DR JMK - There are special phone plans that will only someone to only dial a certain phone number (or numbers) and 911. Otherwise, just make Gabe pay for his own phone and/or service. ???

Especially when in the hands of a slutty musical director - DR elmore3003's words.   :)

...And just "remind" Gabe that you will have access to his call details via the phone bill. "Who is this? Why did you make a call at 3:00am? You sent how many texts?" etc., etc., etc.  -You can also select a phone and/or plan with no data or text features.

I think I made the right decision not to see this show.

God of Carnage

If he's on vocal rest now will he have a voice by the end of the run?

I just don't want to see a play about unpleasant people with unpleasant children yelling at each other for two hours.

Jeff Daniels, an actor I always admired, was such a rude pig whenever he came into Drama Book Shop that I already had a grudge agaisnt the show.

Back from the long jog, and I guess I'll address some more packages.  Had a few e-mails from Sondheim this morning about Illya - he's been going through his files, but he's really unclear whether any of his stuff ended up in the show - he told me what he worked on and I'm sending him mp3s of the LP versions of those numbers so he can check it against his lyrics and notes.

I'm glad you found the phone. I've never lost mine (except here in the house). I have found two lost phones that I have returned to their owners.

I've never lost mine, either...fortunately.  It's my only phone!  My friend Margo has lost/misplaced/destroyed SEVERAL phones.  She does not have good phone karma. ;)
