I went back to the notes and fixed the typos and split them into more paragraphs and also added one thing about The Faculty - I neglected to say that in the mid-90s it sold and got made - point being, you never know.

Good Afternoon!

The production meeting went well, and the subsequent vocal rehearsal went well too. It's always nice teaching a show that really wasn't meant, wasn't written for Singer-singers - at least among the leads and supporting players - except for Ulla ("Now Ulla belt."). The "kids" had already done a bit of work on their own, and it was nice being able to tell them to "not sing so much". Once I get the full ensemble on Saturday, then I'll want Singing.

I have spent all afternoon with THE LAST METRO. I've always loved this film, and the Criterion Blu-ray is lush looking. Almendros used lots of warm colors in the photography, and it is just dazzling in high definition. By far the best version of the film I've ever seen. Deneuve is just stunning to look at in this film.

I spent the rest of the afternoon sampling both commentaries. The Depardieu one wasn't very interesting (he shares it with two other folks, one being a historian). He and the other men are much more interested in talking about the politics of the time and rather than reminiscing about making the movie. The other is by Annette Insdorf which is more interesting. She's a Truffaut biographer.

I'm curious if anyone here knows any home remedies for burns.

This is for my arm (i burned it on the oven 2-3 weeks ago). The square where the burn was has mostly healed (it is just a bit pinker than the rest of my arm). But the part in the middle where i stupidly put a bandaid (and it ripped off a bit of skin) has left a mark.

It doesn't seem to want to go away. And i really have no idea what type of cream i can put on it to help it heal.

I've been using my soft laser, which seems to have helped the burn a lot (too bad i didn't think to use that first night).

Thanks if anyone knows any tips.
