I think I will have to wait until i see the next show to decide how i feel about what
happened during last night's show. I was enjoying sam, and how he was falling
in love with melinda. I really think that storyline could have played out nicely.
But instead they decided to have sam forget those memories and gain back all
of jim's memories. So will it just be back to normal for the viewers? I"m still not
sure why they couldn't have let sam slowly get some of jim's memories back but
still have to decide whether to believe in what melinda does. The show has been
so good this year. But this turn of events seems fast for me. But i will see where
it goes. dak iu iu iudfoiudfiufdiu ui iu iu lwo whow whoe bow iuiu whow wo iuoiu

I can't think of any book that "changed my life,"....

Me, either. :-\

In my teen years, Rand and Nietzsche changed my life, I guess.

When I was older the debunked book by the lying author about Frances Farmer set me out on a course of action which changed my life.

I watched GHOST WHISPERER while I ate lunch (the SD version since it was delayed by ACC basketball.) I was really enjoying the way the Melinda-Sam relationship was going, but with the breakdown of that last week, I understand why the writers felt they had to do something rather drastic. I did find it very emotional; I just wish I could have seen it in HD.

Next I watched Thursday night's SUPERNATURAL (again in SD since the local CW channel was carrying an NBA basketball game.) Very good episode, quite chilling what's going on with Sam on the show. And Jensen Ackles (Dean) had some more showcase moments for his character that he handled very well.

I also watched Thursday night's THE OFFICE, and I had some good laughs. Not the best the show has ever been, but I enjoyed it more than last week's episode.

Tonight I'm going to watch ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST on Blu-ray. I haven't seen the movie in decades, and gave away my SD version of the movie when I started rewatching it a few months ago and realized it wasn't an anamorphic transfer.

Haven't decided yet what else I'll watch.

Heading down now to enjoy a relaxing evening of movie watching with no thought to taking notes, writing up anything, etc.

Bliss! :D

In other news...

I think I'm going to head over to Banana Republic and do some shopping.  One of the members of the cast was giving out "Friends & Family" discount cards today, and since I also have a $50 gift card to use up, well... If I've done my math correctly, I can pick up a new pair jeans for about $5.00. :)

Well, I must be off, too.  I have to stop at my sister's house for a bit, then to my friend Margo's house to give her "The Gilmore Girls: The Complete Fourth Season" DVD set that I got her last night (and she needs to pay me back).

And later tonight, I'm going to see a local production of "Lysistrata."  It's a new adaptation by a woman who lives here in Olympia.  It should be quite interesting. ;)
