I also had time after Jeff left to watch the first half of CSI: NY. A good murder case has me thoroughly interested.

Well, I just learned that due to unclear email communication - which was not on my part, by the way - my actions may have cost my company $17,000+.

I wonder if they will dock my pay?      :-\

I have some computer maintenance duties to perform and then I'll head down to finish CSI: NY and then watch '21.'

DR Elmore, LIFE ON MARS is already available for pre-order on Amazon.com

II can't believe asch a good series is being cancelled. What a moronic network!

My exact thoughts about the short run of MR ED.

???

MR. ED ran four seasons. That was a healthy run for those days. DOBIE GILLIS ran four years. Both were considered successes.

It was just a joke, sort of a running gag with Elmore and I.

Speaking of the USPS - it does seem they keep raising their rates and that every time they do so, their service gets WORSE.  It's disgusting.  I'm waiting on two important checks for Kritzerland - both sent over the weekend.  There is NO excuse for them taking this long and it's going to be VERY problematic if it takes much longer, as I have several invoices that just arrived and I do like to pay on time.

Pogue, great memory - you did indeed meet Miss Power at the Pasadena Playhouse.

Is she still in the business?

BK--I'm sorry, I cannot accept the fact that you have NO control over the USPS.  Please try to remedy that situation ASAP.   ;)

MB:  we didn't get "the biggies" out to SLC vis a vis Room 222.  We got Judy Strangis and Karen Valentine and maybe one of the other "students", IIRC, all of whom were very sweet.  The plot was about a Ute Indian who matriculated to Walt Whitman and encountered some bigotry.

BK, even without delivery confirmation, it just seems like it would be a whale of a lot easier to use PayPal's multi-shipping order function and import all your orders and let them print out automatically.  You don't need to use delivery confirmation and it's all automatic.  You just select method of mailing and weight (so you'd have to separate the dual from single orders) and the rest is done at the push of a button.  I can't believe you hand address all those packages.

I'm not trying to be rude or insensitive but you couldn't get me on a pair of skis for a million dollars!!! Even with a helmet

I've never skied in my life and after this latest accident I have negative desire to do so. Sonny Bono, Michael Kennedy, my sister (she didn't die but the first time she was on skis she fell and broke her leg).

I grew up skiing.  I've cut my head open with the tip of my ski and had a t-bar smack me in the mouth and cut my lip open, but considering the amount of time I spent on skis as a kid, that wasn't too bad.   It's been years since I downhilled.  I would go again.  I also have my cross country skies which I think are harder to control

I've never been skiing.  We lived in Colorado for three and a half years (or so) and never went.  I have no desire to, at all.

Thursday morning greetings!  This afternoon I have to take my aunt to her optician's for a adjustment to her new glasses.

And tonight, for the first time in my life, I will watch MTV:

Taking the Stage

You didn't watch when I guest-starred on HIGH SCHOOL STORIES?

I saw a couple of shows. I did watch last night's LIFE. Not as interesting an episode as some other recent ones, and Gabrielle Union as Charlie's new partner was fine. I do love Charlie's quirky personality.

Reading next week's TV GUIDE, there was a listing by network about shows in trouble, and according to it, LIFE is a certain goner. (CHUCK is still "on the bubble.") That didn't make me especially happy.

I hope it isn't true LIFE is a goner.

I haven't seen this week's episode & can't comment.  I have noticed that Sarah Shahi is pregnant.  I like her very much and hate to see her leave the show.  Do you have any behind the scenes info on this?

Sondheim hasn't had time to listen to the tracks I sent him and compare.  He just e-mailed me and told me he'd get to it today or tomorrow.

Mr. Sondheim just e-mailed you!!!  I would never wash my computer screen again.

This is very much what ended up killing my friend, Stan.  He feel out of the bed in ICU and it was almost a week before they realized that he was bleeding on his brain.

And don't forget that next Tuesday brings us the release of ROOM 222 season 1, on dvd  ;D

It makes me smile!

When I lived in Santa Rosa in the early Seventies, I worked in the Coddingtown Mall in town.  Karen Valentine's sister worked at The E at the time and she was virtually a twin of her sister.

DR Elmore, LIFE ON MARS is already available for pre-order on Amazon.com

Thank you, Mikey!

I just checked; you can sign up to be notified when it's available, but I didn't see any pre-order link. I can't believe such a good series is being cancelled. What a moronic network!

I am disheartened by the show's lack of success as anyone, but the network can't really be blamed. They gave it every possible chance to catch on, placing it behind two of their biggest hits: GREY'S ANATOMY and LOST, and the public just didn't take to it after watching its pilot (it did have 12 million people watch its premiere episode.)

So, blame the moronic public for not supporting a well made show. They're the reason it's being taken off.

As a member of the moronic public, let me just say that I didn't like the show.  Sorry that I am so stupid.

DR MattH, do you know if the next 2 episodes are the last for this season?  I really hope this show comes back. But if it doesn't i really hope that they find some way (in the next 2 shows) to give us some closure.
