I went to the grocery store earlier this afternoon, and I saw the most beautiful baby I have ever seen in my life.

Of course, the baby was Toby, and son and daughter in law were with them.  A very nice looking family.  Okay, I'm partial.

We've seen pictures of Toby.  That's not partial, that's accurate.

I wonder if Jose is off enjoying another version of Southern Hospitality?

You are correct, Woody.  I don't often find babies cute, but Toby is adorable.

Jose is enjoying every version of Southern Hospitality, I'll bet.

Well, almost every.

One does need to be selective sometimes, I suppose.

From the pictures, I'll bet Toby already has loads of personality.

That could help him go far, later in life.

Or get him into loads of trouble.

Or both.

When again exactly does he get to meet Jose, for pointers?

Woody, I hope you can avoid a full-scale depression.

I need sleep.  That'll help.

And I've the next two days off.

Unless I get called in.

And we need the cash.

Bleh.

I forgot to mention earlier that I send along my sincere condolences to DR Ron Pulliam, and to all the citizens of Oakland, California on the loss of the three police officers.

DR SWW - remember at least you are not a member of the Torchwood team.  They have some very difficult struggles.

TAR was very good tonight, with a couple of very interesting Road Blocks/Detours.  And the previews for next week show a team really struggling physically.

Yeah, but they get to play with Captain Jack.

Okay, after seven hours of mixing I think you can imagine how THRILLED I am to come here and find less than five pages of posts.  I should think we'd best get a frenzy or three going on or I shall not be happy, oh, no, I shall not be happy, and if I am not happy, then my finger may slip and I might accidentally close the topic until the new one goes up at midnight.  Beware the Slipping Finger.

The mix took a long time, not that there was much to mix - but between getting each song up, then putting it into protools for levels and fades and such, and then bouncing the mix it was just endless.  We did take an hour break for lunch.  We finished, but I'll listen to the CD later to make sure I'm happy.  The one interesting things was hearing everything together - I'm really happy with most of the score now, which includes the new, improved version of Let 'Em Eat Cake.  There are two numbers not on the demo - one a reprise, and one a little throwaway ditty leading up to the audition sequence - I rewrote some of it after we recorded the track, and it's just not important enough to worry about redoing for the demo.  And we used one number from the previous demo and two from the film soundtrack.

MR BK what's the funniest thing a parishioner said to you in a church during the MILKY WAY tour?

I finished the Illya notes, leaving one little paragraph open for when Sondheim gives me the final verdict on whether anything of his is in the show.  He thought he recognized a couple of lines in one song, but needed to check his notes when he gets back in the city.

I have no memory of any parishoner saying anything, probably because I was a JEW.

My new Apple mouse is very nice....with a scroll button in the middle.

I am wondering if DR JOSE has discovered the intricacies of the politics of the theatre group he is working with as yet....and if he has had to take sides in any arguments yet.

Jupiter and Saturn encourage us to take a risk for a big payoff this week.....Monday and Tuesday.  And to also jump into the fray social-wise.
