Next, I watched '24.' Another action-filled episode, though the pace wasn't quite as breakneck this week as the past two weeks. Still, for an action-oriented series, nothing beats it, at last among the shows which I watch.

I concluded my evening with tonight's MEDIUM. Excellent episode with some puzzling encounters and, though I did guess the boy's ultimate fate, still had me riveted. Good work all around.

I just feel like music and a shower, not necessarily in that order.

I was so sick on Thursday night, I couldn't concentrate on THE OFFICE, so I look forward to seeing it again....when it is rerun in April.

I am loving me my new XM Radio.  All last week I was serenaded by tons of Samuel Barber stuff, a lot of which I had never heard, including archival recordings of him singing.  Then tonight I had the Bway station on and they were playing PLAIN AND FANCY all the way through, and I was reminded what a sweet score that is.

BK, you may know already, but Jobim's recordings with Elizete are considered by Brasilian cognoscenti to be the "real" beginnings of the Bossa Nova, years before Orfeu Negro.

DR JMK - I'm one of the few who's worked on a production of Plain & Fancy - and there really are some great tunes in that score.

Hmm... Two of my neighbors knocked on my door a couple of minutes ago.  They got locked out of their apartment and wanted to call the leasing office. Alas, no one was answering at the leasing office, and the only after-hours help here is for emergency situations. In any case...

They had just come back from the workout room here... So...

-Sounds like the perfect set up for one of DR elmore's VHS Classics! ::)

I haven't listened to the OCR in awhile, but I've always liked it.

In any case...

They've gone over to the leasing office to see if there is anything posted over there.  In the meantime...

They did inform me that there's actually a small screening room in the clubhouse which residents can rent out for their own movie nights.  It's basically a room with a large, wide-screen TV, but, apparently it has three rows of stadium-type theatre seating.  Cool!

I think you should book the room for a showing of ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT WOMAN immediately.

Were these interlopers also involved with THE PRODUCERS?

Nope.  The RAs live in a different complex.  These two "interlopers" work for some technology firm here.

Last night from DR Danise:

"Everything is going well with Sheena and I.  I'm just trying my best to hang on and pray that Consumer Affairs will be able to help me."

I'm sure being back with Sheena will help DR Danise's spirits

It did. :)

"I'm feeling so much better now that I have Sheena.

Yes, both of them are loving Sheena.  She kept trying to lick Johns face the first night like she was saying "Thank You!!".  He said she was a suck up (in a joking tone) because she seemed to know it was up to him if we could stay or go.  I think they are really going to miss her when we finely get home.

I'm so proud of her, she is being such a good girl.  She knows how to ask to go out. She hardly barks.

Some more good news. Channel 28 called me again.  I told him about what the guy at 8 said
(he had been nasty to Danise) and I think that kinda helped.  I hope so.  I just really want to go home.

Please give everyone my love.  I may be able to post a bit from here.  I just don't want to use the computer too much."

This is very good news.

My apartment building is 6 blocks from the river ..... on a bluff

NDSU is a few more blocks beyond that. part of the problems is we are in the bottom of an ancient lakebed... and the land is flat...

It is pouring again outside... I am really nervous

For any DR watching CBS tonight...

-Did you see Patti LuPone in the commercial for CBS Cares Colonoscopy Sweepstakes?  ::)

Is that the one where she says, "WHAT do YOU think is in YOUR colon?!?!"

And if you'd like to enter the Sweepstakes - the prize is a trip to New York for a colonoscopy! And a three-night stay at the Loews Regency.  Hmm...

Welcome to the CBS Cares Colonoscopy Sweepstakes

And Heres Patti!

According to the rules you have 3 nights and 4 days including the night before the procedure, but you also have to be examined by their physician 1-2 days before the procedure.  So, while a trip to New York would be nice, doesn't look like you'd have much time to enjoy anything.

Well, since you're there primarily for the colonoscopy... Which includes taking that "special" liquid the day before... You're not supposed to enjoy much of anything.  ;)

Just  a heads up on the action here..

http://www.inforum.com/

The local Red Cross sent up our emergency response vehicle to Fargo today.  The news said there are 28 others in the region on call to head up there if needed

I would guess DR CILLA LIZ's thunderstorms are headed my way tomorrow.

Basic Blu-Ray.  I am nothing if not basic.

DRJOSE - the winner was most satisfying....and the reunion show is a Rebecca Beat Down.

You'll get the rain and we're going to get snow
