The sun'll come out.

Tomorrow.

Slaw, how many different photos do you have of yourself dressed as Annie?

Glad that the Red River runs north!!  The Missouri does flow through Sioux City, but there are several dams in South Dakota which would help prevent flooding here

I learned last night that we will be getting both Bravo and Oxygen on our cable starting  March 31. I'm looking forward to it

Are skies blue?

You betcha...at least once, for Rudolph Friml!

The sky was blue
And high above
The moon was new
And so was love
This eager heart of mine was singing
Lover where can you be
You came at last
Love had its day
That day is past
Youve gone away
This aching heart of mine is singing
Lover come back to me
When I remember every little thing
You used to do
Im so lonely
Every road I walk along
I walk along with you
No wonder I am lonely
The sky is blue
The night is cold
The moon is new
But love is old
And while Im waiting here
This heart of mine is singing
Lover come back to me
When I remember every little thing
You used to do
I grow lonely
Every road I walk along
I walk along with you
No wonder I am lonely
The sky is blue
The night is cold
The moon is new
But love is old
And while Im waiting here
This heart of mine is singing
Lover come back to me

I have a couple of contacts....

I am hopeful the dikes will hold here and if they dont it will not be for the lack of trying.

Well, if the lesbians can't do it, no one can!

The DP isn't biting on the NYC idea... I'm now pushing the Bahamas.  I here that is where the beaches go on for days and there is only sun, no dramas....   He hasn't said no yet.

WHAT?  Your DP doesn't want to come to NYC?  Doesn't he know that you know someone who can point him to all the "must try" bakeries and patisseries?!?!?!?  -For his research, ya' know.

;)

Has your DP done a Disney Cruise yet?  They are running some good specials right now.  *And if you time it right, you might be on the same cruise/boat that I will be on. :)

Is that a plus?

What a day!  What a day!

I stopped off and bought new tires for the car in anticipation of reharsals in Seattle.  I then stopped off and bought groceries, came home, and proceeded to set fire to the kitchen!

TCB, that sounds like a post I would make.

Or maybe: Gotta go; the firemen are here.

Well there's nothing like having a FULL day, DR TCB....but there's got to be an easier way to meet a fireman!

I had a very productive day. I worked straight through lunch. It was a good day.  Edith came in today but will be gone from tomorrow noon on for the funeral stuff.  Some members of her husband's family are not nice to her at all, so I think it was nice for her to come into the office and get away from it today.  She doesn't want me to go to the funeral, so I just sent a nice plant.

Evan Lysacek's short skate to Bolero - or part thereof - was very exciting.  And I like the costume he is wearing this year....black leather and sequined crosses in red and black.....

TCB...you can't just post something like that and leave!

Sorry, just trying to build a little suspense.  The one thing that is lacking in my apartment is counter space in the kitchen.  So, even though I swear I won't ever do it again, I tend to drop off the grocery bags on the stove while I unpack them.  This time, my luck rant out.  One of the bags moved the dial just enough to turn one of the burners on high.  Luckily, I was still in the kitchen at the time that the plastic bag exploded in flames.

I managed to put out the flames with only a slight burn to my thumb, a melted candy bar (that I didn't need), a burnt onion, and a few other damaged goreceries.  The house did fill with smoke, but the good news is that the smoke alarm works.

Busy afternoon - lots of entering e-mail addresses, plus entering the final Nudie fixes so the script can be sent to actors.  I've offered Rosie to my first choice - she'd have to come in from NY and I'm hoping she will, but I have a very good backup if she doesn't.

We are now looking into Tokyo Disneyland.  The last hour has been frustrating trying to find a package deal or whatever.  Seeing that Disney doesn't own their off-shore parks, none of the Disney travel agents handle their booking.  Since we don't know the area, we don't know what is close to the TDL resort, and what is not.  However, the DP is not set on anything at the moment, which is a whole other kettle of what is it, fish?

Hey!  Just because the candy bar melted, doesn't mean that it's not still edible, does it??
