I actually did manage to see FINIAN'S RAINBOW at Encores last night, and was so glad I went.  The first show I've seen in over a month.

That's actually lots of fun.

Did Nancy Opel really design the costumes?

I was wondering about that too.  I guess she did.  -I also did a double take when I saw "Anna Bergman" listed as one of the "Bit.." - well, other performers.  Most obviously a different Anna Bergman than the one I know - and the I believe DR elmore knows too.  ;)  *And certainly not the Anna Bergman who's was the daughter of director, Ingmar Bergman

Finished with my viewing, went over my notes for tomorrow night, and I guess I'll try to write some notes right about now.  At midnight, right after posting the notes, I'll be sending the Illya Darling eBlast, as my webgal will be making the title "live" first thing in the morning, East Coast time.

He's the "No longer available" DR Jose?  Did I miss some news while I've been E&T?

I haven't gone public with that news yet.  Ssssshhhhh!

Hmm, Cheyenne Jackson looks a little chubby in that photo, but certainly didn't look at all chubby onstage.

That's just the camera angle and the position of his body that makes look "a little chubby".  -You can definitely "see" his shoulders and upper arms in through that shirt. ;)

The character that Jackson played was named Woody Mahoney.

But no, I didn't mean a euphemistic chubby, just that the photo seems to add a few pounds that were clearly not there from my vantage point in the third row.

Well...I don't mind.

Not that anyone asked me. ;)

OK... So... I just discovered a label/sticket/UPC-code-thingy on my back... between my shoulder blades.  And it looks like it may have been there a day or two or...  Hmmm... ???

When I ushered last night, I wore the standard black pants with a white shirt.  I also had a white t-shirt on under my shirt.  When I got home, I took off the shirt and a dryer fabric softener sheet fell off my back. ::)
