Topic of the Day:

In my DVD player:  "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" from Netflix and the opera, "Doctor Atomic" from my local library.

In my CD player:  a whole bunch of things at work that I can't think of.

On my DVR:  last Tuesday's episode of "Reaper" and the series premiere of the new version of "Cupid."

TOD:

*  Steven Pasquale:  Somethin' Like Love
He has a sweet voice, and the jazz stylings and crooning are certainly fine.  It's just that I
was hoping for more of the belting we heard on "Streets of Dublin" in A Man of No
         Importance
.  This is not that.
*  Dear Edwina, world premiere recording
*  Jason Danieley & the Frontier Heroes [surprisingly enjoyable!]

I need to check things when the sun comes up. We covered the pond with netting yesterday. I hope that works. I have to be out today.

Great Notes!!

I knew things were bad with CC, but never that bad.

It is really sad that someone had to act that way.

Good morning.  Another great set of notes, BK.  I had heard similar stories, so I was glad to read your take on "The Legendary Miss Channing."

One of our neighbors has a cat that got out and has been missing since Sunday.  On our morning stroll at 5:00 AM, I think Zach discovered him, hiding under an SUV in a nearby driveway.  But by the time I tethered Zach to a tree and went to try to retrieve the cat, he was gone.  :(   I left a note on the neighbor's door.

LOL.

Well.....it seems that at one point in the title song, Ms Channing was raised over the heads of the Waiters, and Ms Channing being at a particular age - well, would lose some water from her radiator, so to speak - each time she was lifted.

Of course she could not wear a bulky undergarment and told the boys they would just have to deal with it.  The boys were not happy.  They petitioned Equity and were granted Hazard Pay for participating in that particular number.

Good morning!

Looks to be a gorgeous couple of days, and hopefully tomorrow, when the ground dries out, I'll be able to get the mower out and start doing that awful chore for the next several months.
