While I ate lunch, I watched this week's episode of SUPERNATURAL. Fantastic show. Castiel is the sexiest angel ever to appear on American TV. (David Boreanez was the sexiest Angel -- ;D ).

Then I watched X2: X-MEN UNITED on Blu-ray. I was only going to spot check the transfer, but I got drawn into the movie and couldn't stop watching. Isn't that ALWAYS the way!

Yes, Larry, I showed  Anthony Who Shall Rule... He is extremely happy and can't wait to take it out of the jacket and slip it onto the turntable.

He's busy getting his life back in order here in the city and he wants to savor listening to the record so he hasn't put it on yet.

I spent part of the day cleaning the bathroom.

It turned out to be a nice day here after all. The weather reports have mentioned rain and drizzly cold weather but it's sunny (off and on) and nice.

We went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and bought a new whistling tea kettle and St. Ives Apricot Facial Scrub.

We will have a baked potato, sliced chicken and spinach for dinner.

We may watch something on the DVD after dinner but we don't know what we will watch.

And you have so many new choices!

I still should be able to get to the X3 bonus features tonight, but this has put me somewhat behind my timetable for the day.

Still uploading video 2.  It will be at least another forty minutes for that one, and then I have a third - it's really annoying and I wish one of you brainiacs would tell me an easier way than an hour per video - it's ridiculous and it makes no sense to me.  You're not going to tell me that folks who upload hundreds of videos a day spend an hour per video.

JMK -  Someone on castrecl  had posted an article about the young lady who's starring in West Side Story, and the article said she ate only a steady diet of fish.  And you posted something to the effect of "She only eats fish?  Paging Fred Landau."

One of the most feel-good moments of my 49th year!

So, DR Nursie, about LITTLE DORRIT: didn't you love the cast? Tom Courtenay's last two appearances as the ridiculous and vain Mr Dorrit broke my heart, and I loved John, the turnkey's son, whose last scenes were really painful for me. I thought the scene in which he told Arthur that Amy loved him was really wonderful. And Judy Parfitt, what a great actress. I also liked the actor who played Amy's uncle and the actress who played her vain trampish sister.

Very much so with one exception.  I wasn't too keen on the evil murderer even though he captured creepy & evil well.

Thanks so much for the further birthday wishes to Jose (by some strange quirk, so much that's been terrific for me these past few months seems to trace back to Jose or his advice or referrals, and thus traces back to HHW of course),  and to TCB (is cuddly a euphemism for needs to think about getting two seats on a plane? :) ), and to Jane (Toby & Dylan loved the foto!), to Matthew (curtain vibes to you), to George (vibes you get to be in the Brain in WA), Arnold (thanks for always being around and for the song of the day), Jeanne (new home vibes to you), Francois (so glad you're back), to Sam (so glad you're here)

We had a great brunch (at Bar Americain on 52nd Street) with my brother and sister-in-law.  It was a real treat - my brother treated. They gave me lovely chocolates, and also a gag gift of Purell since I had almost cancelled the brunch out of fear after the remarks on TV earlier this week from V.P. Joe Biden about staying away from public places. The restaurant looks like it should have a dress code, but it seems they're casual after all, which I'll remember for next time I go there, and will probably encourage me to go there more often.

We had thought about trying to see "9 to 5" tonight, but somehow much better seats - with a nice discount yet - seem to be coming up for next week.  A quandry.

And there's a chance of getting to post 14000 on my birthday that seems well nigh irresistible.

Of course, if I had only put my birthday thanks in separate posts, I'd be at 14000 already.

FROM THE WHAT TOOK HER SO LONG DEPARTMENT

The fiancee of the Craigslist killer has finally decided to call off the wedding. Probably a good idea.

Interesting post from Kenneth in the 212

Zodiac Killer: I love it when famous old mysteries are finally solved. But this woman who now says her dad was the Zodiac, and that she even scribbled some of the taunting notes he sent, would be a lot more believable if the "expert document examine" who verified her handwriting claims didn't also happen to be an executive producer and narrator of a coming documentary about the case!

Who are the performers?

How did I know you'd be the first to ask this :)

I can't find my program at the moment, but when I do I'll post the info on YouTube.

Thanks again to Kenneth for posting these.

Crack magazine's poster for the next MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY'S next movies.

I always thought that CRACK was a poor cousin to MAD. Inferior writing and art work. BUT

When they get it. They get it good.

As Kenneth remarked

These are all so spot-on that you can almost hear the producers in Hollywood screaming, "SHIT! Now we're gonna have to cancel THAT one."
