If the three boys win for Best Actor in a Musical will that count as one award or three?

Good Evening!

Well... I'm sort of tempted not to "attend" the HHW Tony Partay... Well, at least not "live".  I have a lot of friends, Facebook-friends, colleagues and former co-workers who were nominated in some for another for an award tonight.  I'm just not sure I'd be able to hide my excitement, if ya' get my drift.

And, yes, I believe that the play-ons and play-off are pre-recorded - since the orchestra is not on the clock until 8:00pm.  ;)

At 7pm the red carpet part was going over. I wasn't sure if i was watching a bit behind. So i clicked on the link that was just for the awards. And all i got was a big black screen with white circle. I know you guys said the Red carpet part went over. But even after 7:20pm there was nothing at that link. I wonder if others had that same problem.

My sis said she tried at her house and got the same thing. I went back to the other link and it came on. But they were going so fast it was hard to follow.

Looking forward to the CBS part. Although my sis just called and said my niece has a fever. And since she has spent all weekend with me and slept in my bed i hope it's not contagious!

She was so active all day. But then later she got tired. And we thought it was because she got up at 6am.

Jose, if you want, you can e-mail me with your excitement, since I won't be awake for the West Coast addition of the Tony's.

DR elmore - I did go to to MoMA today, and I was able to take a gander at Stage Pictures: Drawing for Performance

"Visual artists have long been interested in the stage as an arena for experimentation, and their interdisciplinary collaborations have immeasurably enriched the history of modern art. Stage Pictures presents a selection of designs for dance, theater, and opera from MoMA's drawings collection. The exhibition highlights set and costume studies, as well as more abstract suggestions of light and mood, spanning a century of visual experimentation on the stage—from the total theaters of the Ballets Russes and the Bauhaus, to Lincoln Kirstein's formation of an American ballet company, to Pop performances and contemporary epic opera. These works demonstrate how artists have used drawing strategies to, as one critic put it, "anticipate an event": interpreting texts to create dramatic mises-en-scène, imagining bodies in space and motion, and manipulating illumination and shadow. Featured artists include Fernand Léger, Sonia Delaunay-Terk, Marc Chagall, Diego Rivera, and Jim Dine."

Quite a wonderful exhibit.  -And if you'd like to take a gander at it yourself, I have a couple of free guest passes right now.

DR JoseSPiano, I thought you said you were attending the ceremony?

There was a chance I was going to go this year, but, alas... However, after attending last year's rehearsal, and going to the ceremony the year before that, well... It's kind of nice just watch it from the comfort of my living room.

And as for Twitter - It's more something you "do" or "don't do", rather than something you "get" or "don't get".  Just like writing Notes and Posts.
