Not liking this....is this the BEST part of the show?  Is all the "music" like this?

Hasn't one show already won 8 awards?

At least....but will it play in the provinces?

The answer, since I have figured out the show, is a big no.  It's lucky to be on Broadway, lucky to have gotten rave reviews, and I liked it better than I thought I would, but I don't think the show will have a huge life after B'way.

Hunk a licious!

Now if we could just get JS and NPH on stage at the same time, well...  ;)

I want some fruit - it's hot and arid today and fruit would be nice.  I should have gotten some at Gelson's but I didn't.

YIKES!!!

They can't hear the orchestra!

*THEY should have listened to Patti LuPone last year: "Put the orchestra back in the orchestra pit!"  -As well as the conductor!

BTW, I'm loving the show in high definition this year. Much wider point of view really gives a better sense of the numbers.

The best part is when Aaron Tveit is standing in his boxers.

I just kept staring... and staring...

Very good singing, but that number won't sell the show much, I don't think.

It was obvious that they couldn't hear where they were in the music.

And yet, I thought it was the most effective presentation so far.  And I do think she should win best musical actress.

WHOA!

I just realized that I played auditions, call-backs and/or pre-production rehearsals for almost all of the nominated musicals this year.

-I guess my Tony ticket got lost in the mail.  ;)

So far, Next to Normal is the most interesting, original thing I've seen on stage.  Guitars twanging a little too loud.

Well, that's live TV for you. The TOnys have had problems with sound before. I remember John  Leguizamo had to be handed a mic when he was doing his FREAK excerpt years ago.
