I didn't know that Paul Schoeffler was in "Rock of Ages."  I loved him on the recording of "No Way To Treat a Lady." ;D

My question is what is WRONG with Liza?  She's just like mom; except that mom had the good luck to die early before the legend was completely destroyed (Eww!  Am I being needlessly cruel?).

Well, that figures.  It was a new low for Rock and Roll.

I'd rather Will Ferrell had won.  And, of course, Liza ruins her moment by making a rather wandering gush of a speech.  Did you see the expressions on the faces of a couple of the guys behind her.  One of them looking to the wings, expecting the hook to come out.  Of course, Liza's manic, desperate style of performing never really appealled to me when she was young.

Well, I'd be remiss if I didn't help out.
I've been swamped with getting school stuff done in light of the coming Nudie week, but I'm on a break.

Sounds like a rollercoaster of a show happening.

I'm out here, baby.  For the duration.  Which, after the horror show that was Sit Down You're Rockin' The Boat, is difficult.  I have never seen anything as bad as this Sit Down - the number didn't need a new orchestration and a new arrangement and it didn't need Mary Testa to rob the person whose song it is of his final big moment.  How DARE these people.  The chutzpah is truly nauseating.  And B'way has truly forgotten what a rideout is - every single damn number has to have a short note and a musical bump (button).  EVERY SINGLE DAMN ONE AND I AM SO TIRED OF IT.  Sorry, I got carried away with the caps lock, but really, these people need to be stopped.

Hey, what I am doing here?  A solo act?  I'm on the East Coast; I can't keep this up.  My dog has a full bladder that demands attention.

I think I'll have some buttered popcorn, because this has been a wretched food day - every single thing I ate was bad, from the fatty chicken tenders (how do you have fatty chicken tenders), to the lobster macaroni (okay, not terrible or good), to the fruit I got - sour honeydew, sour cantaloupe, blechh.

At least, they weren't during musical numbers.

I can't stay. Alas.  I've only had five hours sleep the last two nights. And the Tonys have been sleep-inducing. No matter how late I take the dog out for his final walk.  He'll still get me up right at nine.  You can set your clock by the little silly bugger.

Why do they keep reminding people.  It's not like they haven't had ample time to get the message the last two years or so.  Let those who have not moved up have their TVs go out.  Then they'll move their ass into the 21st Century...or go read a book...by the fire.
