With canes?

And/or would the dog have taps on his paws?

The dog just has to hit his mark, keep his pair of "blind" glasses on his face, and look cute.

Yes, one must be careful with ideas.  I, for one, have a great idea but if I mention it won't somebody come steal it?  Briefly, it's about a man who steals a loaf of bread and is hounded by an obsessive policeman.  I call it The Man Who Steals A Loaf Of Bread And Is Hounded By An Obsessive Policeman, a long musical in two acts.  I swear, if anyone and I mean ANYONE steals this idea they will be MISERABLE.

Well, I'm off to our last rehearsal without an audience!  Tomorrow, we can invite friends to see the show for free...but they have to get there VERY early.  I don't doubt that it'll be packed.  Free (even Shakespeare) is an incentive. :D

Until later!

After looking at many samples and changing my mind over and over, I made a decision and ordered some new countertops today.  With the discount for installation,  and a free sink, the Staron was actually less that the high quality laminate.  So, I went for it....and got a new garbage disposal and faucets too.    The countertops are "sanded gold dust" and the sink is ivory.

I thought I was going to get a dark color, but realized this morning that it would make the room seem darker than I want it to, so I got the gold dust.  Plus the Sanded Gold Dust was much cheaper than the darker colors...a real plus

The nicest thing is they will go with my cupboards and the floor.  I don't like the floor, but it's in good shape, so I can keep it for the immediate future.  That's a good thing.

It sounds wonderful, Cillaliz. I wanted to redo my countertops this year, but, alas, it won't happen.

Cilla, do you have a photo of the color?  I couldn't find a decent one.  Do you currently have tile?  I love the ease of cleaning a flat counter top.

I decided that instead of a vacation this fall, I'll have new countertops.

No, not really. I have samples but I don't think they will photograph too well.  It's a light color with specks of brown etc.  I currently have the brightest yellow laminate known to man

Patti is hard to take sometimes - even when she's 100% right.

DR ELMORE I am not sure there are five people in my cast who even know who Beau B. is.

DR JRand58, I doubt there are five members in your cast who knew a week ago that MAN OF LA MANCHA was based on a book by Cervantes!

OMG....really?  Do you think I can get a copy at Amazon?

I always liked Johnny Mathis. But I'm not sure I have more than one or two of his albums here.

I attempted to watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS when I went back down, but the President had a news conference at 12:30 today, so the show was completely preempted. I set the DVR to record the broadcast on Soapnet in case it was shown in the West. We'll see if it was broadcast tomorrow.

Lovely counter tops they will be  DR CILLA LIZ.

I have many Johnny Mathis albums from the Columbia years, and a few from the Mercury years, but they certainly don't reach the heights of the others.

My favorite is Johnny Mathis on Broadway....singing "Small World" and "If I Had My Druthers" and many other lovely tunes.....including "You Are Beautiful."

DR MATTH I am using an HDMI cable to the TV, but the R/W cables to my RCA surround system....so it sounds like I am probably doing the best I can at the moment, without a new surround system.

Two of the episodes had audio commentaries, and the first one had SIX participants, so there was a lot of joke making and laughing. The other was much more interesting in an episode directed by Tim Matheson. He was also part of the commentary.
