He's mine, I tell you!!!  ALL MINE!!!!!!

Well...

I'd probably have to clear that with his husband first. But the more the merrier, n'est-ce pas?

and the policemen, evidently.

I couldn't find a Blu Ray disk that I wanted at Blockbuster yesterday, so I bought three regular DVD's.

AUSTRALIA - since MR BK found it to be entertaining...albeit on Blu Ray.  I haven't watched it yet.

CHANGELING - which I found interesting....with a good cast....very dark....

ROLE MODELS - with Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott, which I thought would be funny and sexy like ZACK & MIRI or PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, but was really a dog of a movie that I didn't like at all...didn't stick around for the last 20 minutes or so.

The CREATURE clip came from a Creature From the Black Lagoon Yahoo group.  I am sure it is fine for what it is....but you can't count on serious Creature fans liking it at all.

Hmmm...

Kathie Lee Gifford just mentioned that "big things" are coming up for Sierra Boggess and Hugh Panaro, but she was not at liberty to tell.  Well...

Since Sierra is already booked for the American premiere company of the Phantom sequel - after having originated Christine in the Vegas production... And since Hugh was a long-running Raoul and Phantom, well... Hmmm...  I wonder what the news could be?

::)

Am I the only one who thinks this Phantom sequel is a really bad idea?

No.

SHOW GIRL arrived at my house today!

It arrived here as well.

Alas, no check and I've been expecting one all week. Dammit.

Well, the good news is that we have a date scheduled for an orchestra reading of Life Begins At 8:40 at the Library of Congress! Hooray.

Well... Just been catching up on and verifying some various bits of gossip...

I guess it was a relief to find out that both Will and Audra have gone through (their respective) divorces sometime during the past couple of months.  Meh!

Have run the final corrections through muse Margaret, and just sent the finished manuscript to Mr. Geissman.

I've also shipped some packages and am thinking about doing the long jog, although it's really hot out.

I think when i read books that have sequels i will have to start writing notes for myself. I read a book about 3 months ago. And it had a huge cliffhanger. Now i have book 2 from the library but cannot remember exactly what the cliffhanger was. I wonder if they have sites online with this info!

Last time i had this problem i went to the bookstore and re-read the ending of the book before.

We are back from our shopping excursion around Rockefeller Center.  I dropped into Saks Fifth Avenue for one cosmetic item and ended up having a re-do and spending more money than I intended.  Richard and I took a brief walk through St. Patrick's (DRs Elmore & Jose, remind me to talk to you about tomorrow...) on our way to La Bonne Soupe for a light lunch.  They're closed for renovations, so we just had a refreshment at Starbuck's across the street from the NY Hilton.  On our way back here to the hotel we waited out the worst of the rain in an establishment that will have to remain nameless until this evening.

We are now trying to dry out.

Well, I'm gonna start getting ready to head down to Chez L&K for tonight's mini-HHW get-together.  I have a few errands to run, and I'll be taking care of those in transit.

Laters...
