Good day one and all..

I am at the ndsu/free fargo radio station working on an essay and dinking around on hte puter and thought I would drop in. DH is working on a project.

I am having a devil of a time using a laptop... I can't type.

Elmore, could you start tomorrow please?

I only buy three things at Duane Reade and they are not things that have travel sizes, or I don't like the brand of the travel sized.  It costs me about eight bucks on every trip and I just leave them behind.

Back from a nice dinner with Crista - I was pretty good - had a shrimp cocktail and a chicken sandwich, and some potato chips.  I jogged back to the hotel - but it's less than a half-mile - still it felt good.  Oh, and I did have dessert but it was a non-caloric dessert of fruit.

I certainly hope I thanked everyone for the birthday wishes.  If I missed anyone is was certainly unintentional.

Did Kevin drop by?  And will you be seeing Mr. Barrett on this trip?

Kevin fell asleep and by the time he called me we were leaving.  Brent is out of town so won't be seeing him.

Today I watched the DVD of THE COURT JESTER.  What a pleasure to see the film completely restored and in beautiful color.  Last time I saw it on TV, the credits were a mess, and NEVER OUTFOX THE FOX was missing.  I love Guy Haines version of the song from that film.

I know he was probably hoping that I would play Fredrik, but Catherine and I just never got along.

And they can't be transferred into smaller containers?  At least you know you can get them in NY.

Oh, and Laura, in case you were wondering - the cake I am having is caramel cheese cake.  I tried putting candles on it, but it set off the smoke detector, not only in my apartment; but also the next door neighbor's apartment.

No, I bought just one slice at the Safeway Bakery.  If I made a cheese cake, I would have eaten a cheese cake.

When I sailed on the Norwegian Nightmare Dream they served cheese cake one night for dessert.  I said, "Is this real New York cheese cake (we were in South America)?"

The waiter very indignantly assured me that it most definitely was New York Cheese Cake.  It turned out to be Royal Gelatin Chiffon-style cheese cake, complete with graham cracker crust.

And people wonder why I won't travel on Norwegian again.

I'm quite tired, but I'm not going to bed this early.  Flipping around the dial right now.  Earlier I found a great store called Midtown Comics - I had fun there looking around.
