Has anyone seen the documentary The Boys: The Sherman Brothers' Story

I have not.  But I would like to.

And speaking of documentaries, the Chorus Line documentary, Every Little Step, can now be pre-ordered on Amazon.

Ah, an excellent Christmas / Hanukkah gift!

I talked to my friend Gretchen today. I told her that I thought I should drive up there to see if the mentos geyser went higher with diet coke than it did with the cheap diet soda we used before. She giggled and said she thinks that's exactly what we should do and she couldn't think of better entertainment on Sunday.  So I need to head out and see if I can find a lot of Mentos.

Steve was feeling a little better today and was able to go to his office where he's starting to work on getting things in order to be able to leave it.

You know, we had some last time, I'm not sure what happened to them.  Maybe my mom took them on her regular camera and hasn't had them developed yet.   Yes, we can take photos - maybe even a video!  I'm planning on going all out so we can really play with it.

Actually nothing can be as funny as our first attempt.   We all thought it was going to be this giant explosion of some sort.  We cleared the area, made everyone stand back.  Made sure no cars were coming down the road and it went about 4 feet high and stopped.   We laughed so hard.

LOL-I'm impressed it went as high as 4 feet.

Hello everyone!  Remember me?  I am sorry for my long absence.  It's been a busy summer around here, but now I have a few weeks off so I hope to be able to catch up with everyone a bit.

In case anyone is wondering what Toby and I did today (and I'm sure you are..)  we went to the Tacoma waterfront.  And this is what I saw there.

and these...experiencing sand for the first time

No but on Sunday I wanted to visit a friend's profile to respond to something & was denied access all day.

Next week we're spending four days down on the Oregon coast.  We've rented a little house near the beach.  I think it's going to be a wonderful place to relax a bit and spend some time with my boys.

Laura - Toby will be 1 year on September 6th!  I can hardly believe a year has gone by so quickly.  We'll be going over to Jed's mother's house for a birthday dinner, but I don't do huge birthday parties for little babies...they won't remember anything anyway.

Oh and Laura, I've been meaning to tell you.  Toby has decided that the dinosaur is THE toy to have in the car seat.  It lives in the backseat, and Toby insists on having it in his lap while we travel.  It's quite cute.

I just broke down and added HBO to my cable.  I was thinking it was too expensive and was about to say no until the customer service rep said, well you can always cancel after a few days, it would only be 56 cents a day.  Sheesh, that sold me.  So, now I can see  "Which Way Home" and "Grey Gardens"  Cool
