That was a pretty quick internet surf I just completed, so now I need to hop off-line and get some writing done. Then, I'll head back downstairs for some fun leisure viewing tonight. Haven't decided yet what it will be.

Today must be my lucky day.  I've just received an email offer to purchase Missy Jeans at the astoundingly low price of $14.99.

I hope that's not a person

Ginny was rubbing against my hand, thus the wobbling.

I forgot about the cute little squeal of newborns :)

Mark of the Beast Department:  One of the cooler things about the Great Wolf lodge is they clip a little hospital-esque wristband on you that does everything--it gets you in the waterpark, but a little more amazingly, if you wave it in front of your door, it acts as your key, and any store on the premises can scan the wristband and charge your room automatically.  It makes everything very convenient, as no one wants to be carrying around their wallet/cash since the main attraction is the waterpark.

Modern technology can be wonderful.

I've been searching of a clip of Bob Burns, inventor of the musical instrument he named a bazooka (after "bazoo," meaning a windy fellow, from the Dutch bazuin for "trumpet").  During WWII rocket launchers were named for this instrument.

Anyone better at finding clips than I am, please share.

Oh, Jane, Jane, you mad, adorable little fool.  How could you not know Bob Burns' film debut was in Rhythm on the Range, starring Frances Farmer?

I'm beginning to think Uranus is in retrograde.  Amazon has completely (and I mean completely) screwed up this return/replacement of the defective Onkyo.  I will have to deal with it once we're back.  And then just a while ago, in the middle of my "relaxing" massage/refloxology session, the hotel's alarm went off and we had to evacuate.  It was evidently a drill.  They did give me 6 free cookies and some free Aveda product as a lovely parting apology gift.

Frances (and/or her ghostwriter, Jean Ratcliffe) has some cherche comments about being a serious method actress surrounded by Bob Burns and his bazooka, Martha Raye (also in her film debut) and Bing "where do I stand?" Crosby on the set of Rhythm on the Range.  :)

I don't know which one of the Angus Burgers George tried; but I must say that the bacon & cheese Angus is without a doubt the worst sandwich I have ever eaten at any fast food chain restaurant.

That's too bad, Tom. :-\

I certainly didn't think that it was the greatest burger ever (or even the best that McDonald's offers), but I liked the ones that I've had.  Of course, I had coupons to get a free medium drink and fries, so that helped. ;)
