DR JMK thank you for the interesting & well written review of ENEMY AT THE DOOR. After reading your comments I believe we shall begin with ISLAND AT WAR. In fact I moved it to the top of our NetFlix queue. I wish you had reviewed both movies for a comparison.

I have not seen either film yet. There are several verisions of DEVDAS, and I have the one from the 1950s in my stack of to watch films.

While I ate lunch, I watched last night's THE MENTALIST. I remember that I guessed the guilty party the first time I saw this episode, but it was still enjoyable with all of the hypnotism floating around the episode.

Then, I watched my work project for the day - IRON MONKEY. Unlike HERO from yesterday, this Hong Kong kung fu movie had no pretentions to anything mythic or artsy. It was a fun comic adventure tale much in the spirit of a Chinese Batman or Robin Hood movie. In fact, in the bonus features, the "Iron Monkey" was referred to as the CHinese Zorro. All of these are appropriate analogies.

There were only two bonus features: brief interviews with Quentin Tarantino (9 minutes) and one of the film's stars Donnie Yen (6 minutes).

So, I was finished with a great deal of time to spare.

ATWT featured Luke and Noah with their story arc interloper Nash who's going to come between the couple in the weeks ahead. Of course, once getting this story arc started, it's no surprise that they weren't in the previews.

I ended my afternoon watching an episode from Season 1 of THE CLOSER, the famous one that introduced Jason O'Mara as Bill Croelick. One of my all-time favorite CLOSER episodes.

Craig & Ioana would have moved there, if the job opportunities were higher & the rents lower. Maybe they should have instead of going to Philly. They are busy applying for jobs in the D.C. area. I pray they both find something good.
