Watching a fairly dreadful Mad Men.  The Labor Day long weekend episode that features twins and some of the most puerile writing I've ever heard.  And, the head secretary, Joan, I think is her name, just said she's stuck between Doris Day of Pillow Talk and the DD of Midnight Lace.  Interesting, as Midnight Lace wasn't released until late October of that year.

Mary Travers was alway an entertainer who loved her fans as much as her fans loved her.

I skimmed through today's ONE LIFE TO LIVE. Some nice scenes with Fish and Kyle turned up, too, so a very good episode. Of course, Fish's homophobic parents showed up at the end of the episode, so that's what we have to look forward to tomorrow.

Then I watched more episodes of MY NAME IS EARL. I had forgotten how many guest stars the show used. Almost as many as WILL & GRACE, believe it or not.

I got 15 episodes watched today. This will leave me with 9 (I think) for tomorrow. I forgot to watch the deleted scenes on disc two, so after I finish disc three tomorrow, I'll go back and cath up with those deleted scenes. I think there were only three of them.

Then I watched tonight's GLEE. A super episode with lots of character developments, cameos from Victor Garner, Debra Monk, and Josh Groban (none of whom sang). We did get to hear John Lloyd Young and Matthew Morrison on a couple of numbers.

Really loved tonight's show.

Mr. BIG would be an excellent guess.  And in honor of that guess, I just spoke with him - we'll be having dinner next week at some point.

It was NOT a guess - it was a deduction.

Oh my.....Mr Gibson and Ms Travers.

Peter, Paul & Mary were leaders in the folk music revolution....probably the first folk album we ever had at our house was one of theirs....we probably still have it around here.  I was kind of shocked when I saw them because they always seemed so OLD.....but I loved hearing them sing.

I enjoyed GLEE this evening.  It was my first time seeing an episode, but I didn't feel lost.  Such an attractive cast of boys and fun musical numbers.  The young black girl is not as strong in the acting OR singing department as someone thinks she is......but other than that.....   AND Jane Lynch!

Dinner with B.I.G. - so many questions and tales could be told!

My next question for ASK BK day......is TARAS BULBA the fastest sell out in Kritzerland history?  What do you think made it so popular?  I am glad I put my order in yesterday.

I'm hoping each of those kids gets a showcase number during the season. I like the lead boy and girl in the club, but I want to hear the others, too.

I guess I'll fiddle with the computer a bit and then head back down to go to bed.

Good night!

As for tonight's "Glee"... Those last five minutes... :)

*And, yes, each of the "Gleeks" will have a featured solo or two as the season unfolds.

We need some giant grasshoppers or puppet people or big spiders to liven these flicks up!
