Here's one last YouTube parody before I head into the Oct. 15th tax return preparation season: :)

A new parody video catching up from spring 2009 - link to YOU'RE SCARING US -

parody of AQUARIUS re the HAIR audience participation  (sung by the wonderful Leenya Rideout)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQQnN5liEAw

If they're reading this:  Apologies to Will Swenson for my misspelling his name in the sing-along lyrics, and to Gavin Creel because a great shot of him had to get cut!   :)

Thanks if you have time to watch, and please pass the link around if you like it,

It's great! ;D

Today is Shaun Cassidy's birthday!

Happy Birthday to Shaun Cassidy!  My sister had a crush on him when she was much, much younger. ;)

Well, I believe Doug - a.k.a. The Big Gay Ice Cream Man - will be going back to his "day job" - playing bassoon - in another week or two.  A couple of the other ice cream and Mister Softee trucks are also heading "off road" since it's end of the season.  However, maybe I could get a BGICT t-shirt for you and your DH Richard. ;)

And I did get to watch both MEDIUM and GHOST WHISPERER. I think i liked the first more. i'm still getting used to the new set-up on GW.

I WAS going to watch these today, but my sister called yesterday, asking if I knew about the family coming to her house today at about 3:00.  I said that I didn't know about coming over to her house today at about 3:00.  Then she said that a local pizzeria has a vegan pizza and they wanted to try it.  I said that that sounded familiar, so maybe she (or her daughter) did tell me about it and I forgot (not unusual).  Anyway, it didn't hit me until this morning that the reason that she was having everyone over to her house today at about 3:00 is that TODAY IS HER BIRTHDAY!  How could I forget?? :o

Fortunately, I bought her a present back in April...the complete TV series of Beauty and the Beast with Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman.  It was on sale AND it cost less than what it's available for now!  So, all is well. :)

Yes, Jose, Roseland is bigger than Shubert Alley but when you have hordes of people who won't move it doesn't make much difference how big the venueis. People don't know how to walk anymore!

And this was posted by the HAIRTribe folks earlier this afternoon:

Oooo, according to my email, we're *this close* to being able to have our first-choice apartment for next month's stay in NYC.  Vibes, please, that the people who haven't filled out the reservation form have decided they don't want it!

I know how cliché it is to say that we live in a weird world ... BUT ... come on, Roman Polanski has been arrested and may be deported after something that happened in 1977 and ... George Bush -amongst others!!! - can roam the world free??!!!

There's something really wrong with the world ... dear world?!

There's a petition somewhere here in France; I need to find it! Thank G*d my governement is doing something to help the man!

I can only think of one word right now ; SHAME!

And yes, Mr Polanski would happen to be unknown, he would not be put through that of course!

Human justice?? Ah! Yes, it's "human" hence FAULTY!

I’m laughing away as I type this.  It is a good thing she reminded you to stop by.  She is probably wondering if you remember it is her birthday. ;D

DR Jennifer thank you.

I have never been to hear an author speak where there weren’t plenty of books to be purchased.  I suggest taking enough cash with you, just in case you do want to buy the book for an autograph.  You might feel differently once you are there.    Also I suggest allowing plenty of time to wait in line for the autograph.
