Thanks Cilla.  We are glad his body was able to heal whatever was causing the problem.  If we had checked the first day chances are something would have shown up, this way meds weren't needed :)

Touching story about a very loyal dog.

I suggest watching the video instead of reading the story.

I played a bit of my music collection at work again, but the co-workers will always say they hate it.

My box from Amazon contained The Wizard of Oz and Barbra Streisand's new album.

How gay am I?      ;D

Oh, yeah??  Last week, I ordered the solo CDs of Liz Callaway, Rebecca Luker and Kate Baldwin, as well as the world premiere recording of the very obscure 1920s musical, Kitty's Kisses. ;)

They're all being released on the same day, so HOPEFULLY I'll get them all in the same shipment. :)

Do you play Wing at work too, Kit Lo?

George: I pre-ordered Liz Callaway's new album and received the Jay Masterworks recording of Wonderful Town, Rebecca Luker's Anything Goes and the recording of Swingtime Canteen. My definition of "hot women singers" is kinda skewed.

Laura: Nope, I played Streisand, a bit of In The Heights, some Mandy Patinkin, Frank Sinatra et al - it was all shuffled by my computer.

I played Wing at the office once, and someone asked me if that was a tape of me singing.

The tapes for an upcoming release are at the transfer place and I'll try to stop by there tomorrow just to get a taste of what they sound like - all I can say is one of the scores is an all-time holy grail for me, and the other, which will be its pairing is also excellent.  Both by the same composer - the films have absolutely nothing in common, however, and it may end up as a two CD set because I'm being told that the two scores might be just a little too long for one CD, BUT, that might change if there are multiple takes of cues on these tapes.  I cannot wait to hear them.

There were some moments of humor and interest in ADVENTURELAND, but for me it was a miss. A near miss but a miss nonetheless. Much of it I found very predictable.

I spent most of the evening watching more episodes of THE UNIT. I watched five more episode which made for a total of only six today.

There are 22 episodes in Season Four, so I will have to do double of what I watched today to get back on track so I can finish it up on Thursday and be ready to start on my next box set which, by that time, should be MEDIUM.

The show reminds me very much of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE in terms of the military oeprations the team performs. But added to that are distracting domestic issues which I don't like intruding on the action and suspense of the missions.

I assume they were trying to add the domestic scenes to balance out the action thus making sure there was content that both men and woman could focus on. Most of the women on the show I've found to be mediocre actresses.

I did take the last 45 minutes of the evening to watch tonight's NCIS. A very enjoyable episode. A tricky killer since the person makes an appearance early in the investigation and then we don't see the person again until the arrest. I thought at the time of the interrogation that this person did it, and then when more viable-seeming suspects got cleared, it became VERY obvious who it had to be.

That will leave me with tonight's NCIS: LA to watch tomorrow while I eat lunch.

I also have today's soaps to skim through tomorrow at some point.

Some of us were taking a nap after an intense day at work, and then taking a walk in the beautiful cool night air.

I've always liked the word braindead.  But my favorite (and I use this quite frequently, out loud to myself) is butthead.
