There have been so many rumors about various cast members threatening to walk out, I wouldn't be surprised to tune in one day and see a totally new cast.

MattH, the Judgment transfer looked terrific, as did the other Kramer HD movie, Inherit The Wind.  That they're just sitting on these and not releasing them to either DVD (anamorphic) or Blu-Ray, is just ridiculous.

And argh! INHERIT THE WIND, another favorite, doesn't have an anamorphic DVD out either. I wish SOMEONE would get those MGM licenses for some of the great films of all time and do them RIGHT!

When we're introduced to April Rhodes, a boozing glee club has-been, she's a confident star, welcoming Mr. Schu into a home that it turns out she's been squatting in. Two minutes later, outside on the sidewalk with a box of wine, she's drunk and broken, revealing where life has taken her since her high school glory days. Later, in a hilarious montage, she's back on top at McKinley Kigh, teaching Kurt how to "warm up," Mercedes and Tina how to steal using their thighs, and the high school boys what an older woman can offer. She goes toe to toe with Rachel when Rachel tries to explain that, in fact, it's a little pathetic for April to be back in high school. And when she sincerely promises Mr. Schu she'll nix the alcohol, you want to believe in those big, teary eyes that she will because in spite of everything, you're rooting for April. But this is "Glee," and she quickly falls off the wagon.

Then you throw in the songs: Her heart-wrenching, hopeful rendition of "Maybe This Time" from "Cabaret." A busting out of Heart's power ballad "Alone." And the ultimate ode to a bad hangover, Carrie Underwood's "Last Name." Writer-executive producers Ryan Murphy, Ian Brenan and Brad Falchuk couldn't have written a juicier role, and for that, they should be at the top of her list when it's time to give her thank-you speech at next year's Emmys.

Sherlock & I met a little dog today who is basically blind.  She was not on a leash & I didn't have a clue watching her walk along the path or interacting with Sherlock.  The man with her said he found her in Phoenix (I think he meant Oregon, not Arizona) and had no idea she was blind until the vet said something.  Then the fact she went in circles a lot made sense

VIBES NO MATTER THE OUTCOME, LITTLE MICHAEL & ALL THE KITTENS FIND GOOD LOVING HOMES!!

When I got in from lunch, I watched three more. There was a kind of twist to the story in which a member of the unit who had gone rogue was actually working undercover, but I had figured it out before it was revealed.

Kind of feel bad for the producers and actors because when they finished shooting, they didn't know the show was going to be canceled. (It was one of the infamous "bubble" shows.) So, I'm going to assume, before I watch the last episode, that it's left with the expected season ending cliffhanger. We'll see.

I didn't have enough time to watch that last episode, but I did have time to check out the bonus features on the last disc. There were three of them, but none lasted longer than 11 minutes. So I got all of them watched. Now, I just have the last episode, and I'll be done with THE UNIT.

I did have time to skim through today's ATWT. Nothing of interest, but Luke and Noah were in the previews for tomorrow's show.

I also feel like taking a nap.  Before I fall asleep I had better get outside & begin picking up acorns from the decks.  Then I have apples to pick up from the lawn.  The wildlife will be happy to have them thrown over the fence.  On the other hand, the wildlife that can come through or over the fence will not be so happy they have to share their apples.
