Yes, why would anyone watch Fox news - or most of the news stations these days?

Ben-Hur
Why couldn't you have be'n him
I like the way you look
Like you live at the gym
Your muscles are so firm
You have no body hair
You really make me squirm
To see that tiny cloth you wear

Uh-Oh... I really hope that DR elmore is currently ensconced in Carrol Studios for today's Finian's band rehearsal, and not dealing with the suspension of the B/D, F/V lines of the subway due to a substation fire.

I am a tad annoyed at the feministas maintaining that it is all evidence of sexual harassment. It may well be, but I don't discount the possibility of career hungry underlings throwing themselves at the boss.

I hope DR Jane and DS Craig have better news today than I had.  A really great long-term part-time job for me that was in the works just fell through...       :(

More nonsense - but this time from LATIMES

Quote
The decision dashes the hopes of U.S. boosters -- President Obama chief among them -- who had put their reputations on the line to help win the games for Chicago.

Where and when, pray tell, did the President "put his reputation on the line" - he simply led a cheering team. Folks who cheer on a losing side in a competition do not have compromised reputations.

Jose, I think that falls into the "I am not surprised he is having sex with his employees" category.

I haven't read "everything" that's out there, but...

He's certainly not the first "boss" to have sexual relationships with his employees, and he most certainly won't be the last.

Even though he had been seeing the mother of his child for two decades, they did not marry until this past March.  So, unless, some of the "terrible things" happened during the past couple of months, well...

And I do admire Mr. Letterman for wanting to protect not only his family, but also staffers with whom he had sexual relationships.  -Now, if some of those staffers decide to make their identities known, well...

If there had been sexual harassment issues Mr. Letterman would not have spoken out.  What he did was smart and honest.  In one fell swoop he nailed the creep who tried to blackmail him, and diffused any possibility of anyone else trying to exploit this situation for gain.  He just put it out there - hard to blackmail when someone just admits everything on national television.  I thought it was perfectly done.

In one fell swoop he nailed the creep who tried to blackmail him,...

Who turns out to be a CBS producer!
Longtime CBS News producer has been indicted for allegedly attempting to extort $2 million from late night comedian David Letterman.

Quote
Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau announced the indictment Friday against Robert (Joe) Halderman, a 51-year-old producer of the true-crime show “48 Hours." Halderman, of Connecticut, is charged with one count of attempted grand larceny. If convicted, he could face up to 15 years in prison.

-And he, Halderman, also used to live with one of Letterman's assistant, Stephanie Burkitt, who used to get a lot of camera time.  -The plot thickens.  Or not.
