And for those who may be affected... Verizon is currently experiencing some sort of service outage and/or interruption on the East Coast.

After The Real Ambassadors, The Manhattan Transfer's brand new CD, The Chick Corea Album is supposed to be delivered today.  It's their first new studio album in five years.  Listening to audio clips, it sounds very eclectic and the kind of CD that I will LOVE!!  I don't know Chick Corea's music at all, so it's all new music to me. ;D

"The Real Ambassadors" will be listened to later...both "THE CHICK COREA ALBUM" and "TARAS BULBA" have arrived!!  Those must be heard first!

Hey, everyone!   Guess which movie is now available for pre-order at the WB Archive?         :D

For me, this is not exactly good news. Oh, I'm glad we'll get the movie, but I had high hopes that Warners would do ONE more Judy box set called EARLY JUDY or something similar with all of her earliest films through LITTLE NELLIE KELLY. Now, I guess LISTEN DARLING, THOROUGHBREDS DON'T CRY and NELLIE will all eventually come out in Archive releases like EVERYBODY SING.

The grocery store was not crowded at all this morning, so I was in and out in record time. I LOVE it when that happens.

I watched last night's THE MENTALIST while I ate lunch. Really enjoyed the episode, and I loved the ruse that led to the confession. I had guessed the relationship between the husband and wife as soon as Patrick made the comment early in the episode.

Then I watched the first four MEDIUM episodes in the fifth season box set. There were several of the first four in which Allison was possessed by some sort of spirit. In one, she starts building a bomb. In another, she thinks she was responsible for a hit and run accident but what happens was much worse as she slowly realizes she's been involved in a murder of a human trafficker.

My favorite of the first four was the one with the doctor who was allowing his colleague to let him die so his ghost could spy on rich folks doing wrong (shades of David Letterman), and then be brought back to life so they could be blackmailed. I just LOVED the ending of this one with the arrogant colleague who thought they had no proof on her.

With 30 minutes left, there wasn't enough time to watch another MEDIUM episode, so I skimmed through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. The boys were on, and profesor Mason finally made the long-rumored pass at Noah. A fairly good start to the upcoming jealousy story arc.

Kyle and FIsh were on OLTL today, so I enjoyed their storyline even more. Nick was also part of that story and also a story in which he interviewed the two mayoral candidates to get their views on equal rights. David Vickers Buchanan (Tuc Watkins) was especially humorous as always.

DR JMK - They're on the outside of the box, underneath the back flap touting the features contained therein.

Thank you, kind sir.  You have hereby earned one "get out of a lame JMK joke free" credit for your efforts.  Redeem at will.

Listening to TARAS BULBA.  What a lovely score.  Shades of Lt. Kije in a couple of cues.  Bruce, this is the best sounding Kritzerland soundtrack release yet, by far.

Just read on the net that UGLY BETTY's return to primetime has been delayed a week, so instead of the two hour premiere coming next Friday night, it's two weeks from tonight.

Last night's Project Runway was a team challenge, which I don't care for.  And there were some very delusional design pairs on view.....

I do agree with the judges' decision in who should go home, not sure I agree with their choice of winner.

I do mend clothes, socks & dog toys on a semi regular basis.  :)

Particularly clothes and socks that were used as dog toys :)

der Brucer

Oh no, he is a very good boy.  He only takes our socks & clothes to cuddle with them in his bed.

Such a good boy, as we walked past 2 deer today who were staring at us, all he did was look at them & continue walking with me.  I was almost sure I would get dragged over to the deer.

I would like the recipe for the pumpkin cakes.
