Francois, I don't think they'd make musicals, but they'd sure make a great movie series.

DR Cilla, vibes it is yours if you want it, and isn't taken by say, a "friend".

No, he doesn't like it - he was very negative about it and said he thinks he looked at the same space a couple years ago. He thinks we're going to look at another bigger space on Tuesday.  This space has been empty for a number of years.  It needs updating, but they will do that. No one else is looking at the space. I'm not worried about losing it

Well, I'm off now.  Today in Olympia is ArtsWalk and the Washington Center for the Performing Arts is open to the public with art hanging all over the theater (probably not the main stage, though).  I'll be working at the concessions counter. :)

Until later!

Besides, my building manager really likes me. She looked at the space with me and wouldn't rent it without making sure I don't want it.

That's good & I think you are better off not sharing a space.  The complications can be such a pain & you've worked so hard to be independent.

:D

Do you think overall you will prefer this fixed up space to expanding using the space you currently have?

You should get Disney interested in them for a TV series, I think!

I just heard from a reliable source that certain member here at HHW will be having their play read by one of the many producers of the musical Next To Normal over the weekend

Congratulations, Michael!

Has anyone had problems with Footlight.com lately?

My June order with them seems to "stall"!

I can't email them; their links are "dead" (?) ...

I faxed them but they are ignoring me, it seems! VERY weird!

Obviously, they are still in business, and I have never had any problems with them before (And they with me!!);

I should set Adriana on that case, for sure! ;)

Yes, much better.  I think my office is beautiful, I think the office next door is beautiful.  They are completely different styles that would be hard to reconfigure, but they both look good and have good views.  I now know that even though the other office has a bathroom, it is far from sound proof, lol.   I just can't visualize a layout that will work in the way I want it to and I don't know exactly when the current lessee is going to be moving.  The other space will work pretty much as it is with a few modifications

Plus the space I have now isn't sound proof enough and that bothers me. I am also bothered more and more by the denizens of the skywalks.  Recent thefts during the middle of the day and some other things happening make me uncomfortable to be there alone at night, a time I tend to be quite productive.   The new space will at least be restricted after 6:00 PM and on weekends.  I like that

Francois, I've been hearing a lot of complaints about the "new" Footlight.  All I know about them is that they order from me regularly, almost an order a week, so I hope they get their act together.

I just checked. It wasn't FLASHPOINT at all; it was Disney's THE PROPOSAL on Blu-ray. It, too, doesn't come out until the 13th, so it'll have to wait until after I finish MEDIUM (which comes out on Tuesday).

I'll be curious if you like this. I really want to see it. I suggested it at my library. So i'm pretty sure they will get it. Although probably not for a few weeks.

I agree with everything DR MattH said about GLEE.

I loved this week's episode. And I love Kristin Chenoweth and thought she was really good. This was probably my favorite episode. She really is well suited to this show. I wish she would be a recurring chararacter!

I watched ADVENTURELAND yesterday.

It wasn't really for me.

Too slow.  It was okay. It had potential. But it was just really lacking IMO. :(

Safety is an excellent reason to go with the other space.  Are you sure it has better sound proofing? ;)

Someone down the street just invited me over for food and to play that game I played over there a few months ago - that Scrabble-like game.  But I think I'm just too too tired to trek down there and have to be charming and vivacious.
