Good morning, everyone.

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to BK, David, MattH, Kerry, Laura, Cillaliz, Jose, Fred, George, Larry, Ginny, Jane, Jennifer, and anyone else I may have inadvertently missed. Your vibes are much appreciated. Thanks also to those who sent emails and PMs. I value them all.

Yesterday I had some blood tests done. I DO NOT do well at the sight of blood. I showed the nurse my one good vein, saying it would be easier on us both if he used that one.

Me: I'm not going to look <as I turned my head away>.

Him: OK. I won't look, either.

Me: No! You look! I'll faint.

Him: I'll faint, too.

Me: Noooo!

He proved to be quite competent, thankfully, and got it in one. And I was out of there.

This morning I tried to explain to BK that the thyroid is NOT in the leg. Fortunately, my doctor's knowledge of anatomy is better than that of our beloved BK.

I might be thinking of one of the other Newman/Darby collaborations, but I believe one of the CASTRECL people offers a bootleg of the complete score (with outtakes no less) of SOUTH PACIFIC, courtesy of his friendship with Darby.

Why do I think this person's name might be Joe Caporiccio?  If not, I'd be VERY interested.

Re: "Camelot", I have several CDs of material all derived from the isolated tracks of the DVD.  Some are direct recording and others have been subjected to equalization/noise reduction.   I'm thinking more along the lines of a label gaining access to the master recording and doing a fabulous new recording with things properly balanced and spruced up.

But I am always willing to listen to any source that may be different from what I already have.

My wish is for the house to sit there unsold for a year.  That's my wish.  And my other wish is for the contractor on this job to have one of these built next door to HIM.

How about going to the open house and bad mouthing the quality of construction and the neighborhood? That might dissuade potential buyers :-)

Good Afternoon! -To those DRs on the East Coast.

I'm up, I'm up... And it's been a gray, drizzly, rainy day here in New York City.  Perfect for sleeping in. Really sleeping in. ;)

My wish is for the house to sit there unsold for a year.  That's my wish.

If it does, that will exert a downward pressure on all the neighborhood property values. Usually spec-house developers are savvy enough to price a property for prompt sale.

It's not joe c.  It's a local dealer here in LA who always has weird home-grown CDs for sale, as well as legit releases.

Additionally, every weekend, month that it remains unsold, also means another Open House and/or another chance for the owner/developer to do some more work on the house.  Of course, there's always the chance that the new owners may want to have some additional work done to the property.  ;)

Gee - the only one looking forward to TV tonight must be Laura - a new COPS!

der Brucer

A new episode of COPS tonight? Dang, I don't have a tv.

COPS just made the front page of The Oregonian here--a crew tagging along with a patrol unit violated the law by going into a homeless shelter and filming without permission.  That footage will not air.

Like adding a dog run for the Beagle Puppies - or a fenced-in scratch area for the pet rooster.
